As lovers of fleur de corgettes we had to take up your recommendation and visited Cagnes-sur-mer today. Met and spoke to “Madame Corgette” and her husband, drank many glasses of that delicious rosé de provence, sat at the same table as the famous duo and sampled the "assiette de jambon de corse et fromage". Whilst enjoying our food, the policeman who we had asked the way to the covered market, passed by and asked if the rosé we were drinking came from Provence. My french wife didn’t hear clearly what he had said and replied no he comes from England, referring to me. The crowd queueing for the courgettes, alone with myself burst into laughter. A great day out, a new discovery, and met some really nice people, thank you both, definitely now on the list of places to take friends visiting from the UK.

⛱I AM IN LOVE WITH THE SOUTH OF FRANCE! 🏖 Merci beaucoup🌞 for showing me just how much I love the French people, the sites, the food, the sea, the atmosphere...I could be very happy there...as long as I had air con life would be bliss! Ha ha ha ha...I think I would adore exploring, driving around, people watching, shopping, learning and experiencing. Tim, you and Mr. Boo are fantastic tour guides and talented promoters of not only the Citroen Ami, but of what to expect when in the south of France. Everything from your music, your humor and presentation was superb!...Your meal looked gorgeous, and I loved the casual way everything is in the south. Loved the drone shots! But I must say, a wee bit of claustrophobia would have washed over me on that narrow street! I probably would have had a small panic that it would never end and I would just be driving and driving until I reached Norway...🥶ha ha ha ...❤

@@MeandMonAmi I was just curious. I am related to Michael and I'm just learning that he did many, many paintings. Here's a brief summary from Wikipedia: "Michael Francis Bowen[1][2] (December 8, 1937 - March 7, 2009) was an American fine artist known as one of the co-founders of the late 20th and 21st century Visionary art movements.[3] His works include paintings on canvas and paper,[4] 92 intaglio etchings based on Jungian psychology, assemblage, bronze sculpture, collage, and handmade art books.[5] An icon of the American Beat Generation and the 1960s counterculture, Bowen is also known for his role in inspiring and organizing the first Human Be-In in San Francisco.[6] Chronicled in books and periodicals reflecting on the turbulent 1960s, Bowen's historical impact on both the literary and visual art worlds is well documented.[7] He remains influential among avant-garde art circles around the world."

Amazing shots of that narrow street, it reminded me of a short cut I took once in Croatia in the Corsa we’d hired and this road kept getting narrower and narrower until the point I had both mirrors folded in and then a sharp turn at the bottom to get back to the main road (and being presented with a no cars sign). Thankfully a local who used to drive buses flagged me down and then guided me through, I was sweating bullets (and was glad I hadn’t taken the hire car place up on the free upgrade to an SUV). When travelling in a foreign land always get the narrowest hire car you can get away with is my motto

Just seen on the Fiat website. Fiat Topolino Ami in Italy - starting price 9,890 Euros (about £8,520 although it will probably be higher when available in UK - my bet at least £9,000). The Ami in UK starts at £7,695 plus delivery and customise options. Regarding your previous video on 'Shall be trade in Ami for Topolino - Maybe keep the Ami and see how Fiat price their version in France. It does seem that Fiat are putting around a minimum £1,500 premium on the price of their version. Will wait to see what they do when the Fiat UK version is released but highly likely I will go back and look at the Citroen Ami. They now quote around a Four week delivery on their UK website.
