those old time models, the way they presenting the dresses was so unique, like, kinda dancing? if modern day models do that, would be quite a show. peculiar but fresh rather than they just vigorously walk straight.
@Americansikkunt4 жыл бұрын
For some reason the model is presented as masculine, or even manly...It’s bizarre.

Yes, Galliano was great for 'disco Runway Models!!

even if nowadays models tried to do the same they wouldn't be allowed to

The move that the Dior took was so strategic , it made fortunes for them. This shows that you have to put in effort in order to succeed.

I must say it's a nice move. Excellent video thanks .

What is the motive that drive people into buying these expensive outfits. I mean is it not a normal cloth?
@rebeccacasey94193 жыл бұрын
@@charlesclifford2624 good things are expensive and the brand took years of experience to be where there are today.

Watching this makes my heart ache for what Dior has become. I'm envisioning what could have happened to honor Dior's origin and traditional heritage and instead we have...well. This.

I think part of the reason the New Look was so popular was because it didn't stray too far from the more menswear look of the 1940's. Yes, hourglass shapes are considered feminine, but the New Look is very straight and angular. Bullet bras are very triangular. So Dior made a New Look that didn't stray too far from it's past decade which made it easier for people to adopt.
