Getting a tutorial from a music teacher is so much informative, that getting a tutorial from somebody that can play the instrument. You break down the song and make it easy. Thanks again.

Michael Cooke Michael, thank you SO MUCH for that compliment! It means THE WORLD to me ❤️ I’m going to forward this compliment to my professors who taught me how to teach and to my students who call me out when I don’t explain something well 😂 Glad you enjoyed the tutorial. Hope to hear from you more often 😉

I love that you have been including more fingerpicking in the last couple of tutorials because it means that I've really got to get the fingering for the chords spot on to sound good. It's a great reminder and a nice challenge.

OMG, why can't everyone teach like you! I just started learning ukulele two weeks ago and have been surfing KZbin looking for good tutorials on easy songs that can be played with a little bit of fingerstyle. I don't sing and have very little musical talent, but watching you teach Havana makes me feel like I can actually learn it. Yours is by far the best I've found. I look forward to checking out all of your other lessons. Thank you

This is the best tutorial for Havana I've seen!! With every other tutorial I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. I knew the chords and I knew the strumming pattern, but something was off. I figured I wasn't changing the chords at the right time but I just didn't know when to do it because no other tutorial explained it. Thank you so much!

Couldn't agree more. Maybe she doesn't sing as well as she'd like but it's most probably because she doesn't practice. She has something that can't be trained though - nice timbre. This type of husky voice is often a mark of best singers.

Hey there! I've been playing ukelele for around 6 months. Recently, I've been trying to learn how to play the uke fingerstyle. Most of the tutorials here online go a little fast and I find it hard to follow. It'd be really amazing if you do a few tutorials playing songs fingerstyle. Btw, your tutorials have helped me a lot to learn playing so far. Thanks a bunch :)

Very cool. This song has a great feel. Watched it a bunch of times. 3 chords, oh ya. That clapping technique works well. Helps with the strumming, plus with the finger picking I actually sound good. Nice little confidence boost. Luisa had a tip about getting a ukulele journal---this is definitely going in it. Thanks for the song Ms.B.

Hey! Thank you so much for the detailed comment! ❤️ It really helps to know what you found useful, what sounds good, and what techniques help you learn, so I appreciate that! :) I need to start my journal asap! I liked that tip Luisa gave as well!

Dearest Bernadette... We beginners need this video again in the key of a-minor. It's sooooo much easier to play those chord changes for beginners! Also, can we request a chord chart for the entire song if you re-do this video in that key for the beginners? Those chord charts make such a huge difference!!
