Please help 😭 We have had our puppy for 1.5 week, and our Milo have been amazing! We even talked yesterday about how easy having a puppy is. This morning and day was awfull though😭 He cried from 05:00-07:00 😭 And my daughter called me from home at 13:00 and cried because Milo was going crazy, barking and biting! Is this our new life now?😭

Did Pistachio cried when she was on the pen because she didn’t had access to you?

Oh definitely! Especially in the early weeks. One of the best things we did with her was not get her out of the pen until she had stopped or paused her crying. It felt heartbreaking but she caught on quick. Eventually she learned the best way to get what she wanted was to sit quietly, which she still does to this day when she wants something!

I understand that it is everyone's personal choice, but the flea and tick meds are neurotoxins and you turn your dog's blood into a neurotoxin which kills the fleas and ticks when they bite the dog. I encourage people to watch some videos by holistic vets about the flea and tick meds. Dr Andrew Jones, Dr Judy Morgan are 2 good ones to watch, just so you are informed on what you are giving your dogs. We gave our dog these meds for 11 years because I didn't research what we were giving her and I regret it to this day. I would never do it again.

I just got my Havanese puppy he is 6 months old, but he is being very unfriendly with humans and doesn't like being touched by anyone except me is this a normal behavior!?

You'll be fine. Just remember "this won't last forever" that's what I had to keep telling myself when I got aggravated/discouraged or thinking "What have I done?" but she's 14 months old now and so much better. I did start my havanese off the first night I brought her home sleeping in a small play pen. I fed her all of her meals in the pen and she stayed in there while I'm at work. I go home every day for lunch and let her out for about 45 minutes, return her to her pen then I get home (no stops) and feed her and let her have freedom until bedtime at 9:00 p.m. I did not take the advice of the breeder in putting a crate in my bedroom next to my bed. I ordered a small playpen (for dogs) from Amazon set it up in the living room and she has done great.
