Hiked and camped in the canyon in 1971. I'm always thinking how sad it is that we don't have video tape type of memories so we can go back and experience things long after we've actually done it physically. This video did that for me, thank you!

I've been there five times during the 70s and 80s and this video made me wish I could go there again. I noticed certain parts have changed since I was there last. There was a Hidden Falls near where Navaho Falls is, and I no longer recognized Beaver Falls. Beaver Falls sort of marked the half-way point between the campground and the Colorado River, which I hiked to twice. At that point you are so deep into the canyon you will see the dark layer of Precambrian rock formation, before life began!

This was a great video to relive the great hikes into the canyon. Was down there twice in the early '70ies. Fortunately, my foot blisters have long since healed. Also, found that in the Fall was a good time to hike with cooler days and the brilliant Fall colors.

It’s was such a beautiful video, just showing the foot steps, with sounds on the paths and surroundings. I would say picture perfects. I love waterfalls, like Niagara Falls, Yosemite Falls, Angel Falls, Iguazu Falls, Victoria Falls and so on, but I have never visited these falls. I wish I could be there sometime soon. I would enjoy listening to the sounds of nature and witness the geology of the canyon.

I did this hike bout 4 years ago and was able to hike past beaver falls all the way to the Colorado river, the scenery past beaver falls is astounding the tall narrow valley with the only walkway being the river itself with a bunch of cool landmarks and then when u finally see the warm light blue water mix with the dark cold green waters of the Colorado river it blew me away. if anyone ever gets the chance to do this hike i recommend to follow the river all the way down to the Colorado for this experience its breathtaking.
