Have a Broken Spinal Cord Stimulator and Live in Ohio? Sue the Manufacturer!

Thank you for this informative video! I’m in northeast IL & had no idea what type of attorney to consult until now. My surgeries were in April 2024. It took my neurosurgeon 3 hours to implant the trial stimulator, which never worked except to cause sporadic shocks to my right leg, so it was turned off throughout my 10 day trial. I told the surgeon’s assistant & the manufacturer’s rep that it wasn’t working while I was in recovery at the hospital afterwards. I asked the surgeon’s assistant to request that the surgeon replace the defective stimulator when I was to return for what would’ve been the permanent implant. However the surgeon, his assistants, & the Boston Scientific rep all claimed it was my body’s fault that the unit didn’t work. So the surgeon removed it 10 days later, along with a screw he had drilled into my spine (which was not supposed to be part of the trial surgery). He never spoke to me after that. My left side lower lumbar pain had/has continued to increase. An X-ray taken in Sept. shows my tailbone has been fractured for an unknown period of time. Is there any point in consulting with an injury attorney at this time? Thank you!

I'm getting mine removed tomorrow and it's been the worst pain on top of my regular pain

Will a removed unit be unable to to used in court if we pick it up from pathology? They are telling us a lawyer has to pick it up?

My daughter had the surgery and she had a broken piece of metal lodge in her spine. Now she is in constant pain with no recourse
