I'm happy / I'm being happy - நான் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்கிறேன் I would prefer to use the 1st one. But, adding some key words like I'm being happy (at the moment/now) might make it sound okay. I have been happy - நான் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்திருக்கிறேன். I have been happy for 4 days - நான் நான்கு நாட்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தேன் I had been happy - நான் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருந்தேன்

I have ill - is wrong. It's like saying "I have busy". You should say, I have been ill. I have been busy. I have been busy (adjective) with (preposition) my work(noun) She has been very proud(adjective) of(preposition) herself(pronoun) The explanation is just like the examples given in this video.
