That is true.. Also note that statistically Finnish children don't learn to speak any later than children in other countries. So in that way Finnish shouldn't be any more difficult than other languages.. Actually .. It's so easy that even a child can do it!

@@pokedick2000 True. Learning another language similar to what you know already is usually easier than a totally different language. I do disagree on the latter part. Learning languages is difficult. It takes about 1 year of intense learning for a child to learn the language and even he (or she) doesn't become totally fluent until 3-5 years old. It takes a lot of time. Especially considering that babies also learn the language when in the womb.

My first language is brazilian portuguese (is a bit different from the portuguese they speak in Portugal) and I also speak English, I'm learning spanish now, is really fun to learn new languages, but it's hard work. I don’t think she’s 100% fluent in Spanish, I’ve been following her since I was like 16 and I’ve never really heard her speak it for more than a few words. She did a video A LONG time ago where she said she was trying to learn it better. I’d imagine if they put her in some type of schooling she’d be able at a young age she’d be able to learn it quickly since she’ll grow up bilingual :) Hopefully they work on teaching Sophia Spanish too! So she can embrace both sides of her beautiful cultural backgrounds!

xNOTxIRLx i don’t think I’ve heard her speak more than a few words in Spanish but maybe I’ve missed a video? If you wanna drop some knowledge/video for me I’d appreciate it because I’d love to hear her speak it! It’s actually quite common, especially in Texas. I know many Mexican people in Texas who don’t know a word of Spanish. That’s just from being a 2nd or 3rd generation. I’m not saying she doesn’t know a word of Spanish, I just don’t think she’s 100% fluent. She did a workshop in Guadalajara a few years ago with Moon and her teaser trailer (which I don’t think is up anymore, I tried to find it) where she said she was going to work really hard on brushing up on Spanish so she can communicate with people. Makes sense why none of the reels they released she was speaking to the audience. I’m not attacking her by any means, I just said that because I see people ask about her Spanish a lot. She probably never directly addresses it because if your Mexican and you don’t speak Spanish properly you basically get crucified by your people. But maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know her personally so I’ll probably never know ! And thank you 🙏 😊
