Glad all is well and I’m excited for new content man! Cloudbreaker cav and wuwei were super meta because the wuwei can win against atleast 90ish percent of infantry, and the cloudbreaker cav was kindve annoying to deal with cause they seem to have a lot of different cav traits in one, high health with high damage, pretty good mobility etc etc. This seasons companion cavalry is fun they’re basically glass cannons that die easily but if you flank them well they can deal massive damage. Cav companions 1 ability are for hit and runs while the 2 ability you’ll wanna use for staying in fights. The sunward phalanx are pretty fun in my opinion, even if you don’t use their stab ability, I think with bottom pathway they deal lots of brace damage and you can constantly march them forward and backward into hordes of units for lots of damage and a good chance of survivability. Their stab/#2 ability are great against infantry but bad against cav, i find that using the 2 ability against a lot of golden cav charges will lose so its better to use the 1 ability, brace or marching is best against cav and the goal is to just constantly reposition them so yk they don’t get trebbed, flanked, melted by ranged etc We also had a new weapon class vote so there’s a good chance we’ll get a new one by next season although I don’t remember the list Anyways I’ve been a fan of you and I’m glad you’re back man, I’m ready for more of your pub stomps

I also took a break from the game again in Season 18, came back at the start of Season 20, but couldn't quite get back into the game. I got totally squashed by the Wuwei Guard and had no idea what units I should play (even tho I have almost all of them) and then went to play other games. I kinda want to play CB again, but I'm currently playing another game with my CB mate so don't know when I will get back into it. Anyways nice to hear something from you again, hope you start uploading some CB content again.

Some notes I got: - We got new runes that give something called "Oracle Mark" which can be activated by different means (like killing 3 soldiers or one hero or (my fav) using a paragon skill (the new name for ultis now) and that can give you good bonuses with other runes like "increasing movement speed/damage/things for X time when activating oracle mark" it's fun and has good synergies too. - I would love to be joking, but PEASANTS GOT MASTERY 🤣🤣🤣 and expecially serfs look kinda fun with more survivability and becoming field medics (but haven't tried them out yet) - They are doing surveys for us to vote on the next masteries too 🤔 - Not really sure about the balance changes, but there have been some 😅 Welcome back Plum, se you on the battlefield 🙏

Plum you're back!! 😄. Here are the main things that have changed! Wuwei mansion guard and Xuanjiua heavy cav are the most overpowered units in the entire game! Azaps got mastery and are my new favorite unit 🤩. Maa are still op as ever but iron reapers got a buff and are now even tankier and scary than before. The new purple cav is good but balanced and the new pikes are very.... situational is a good way to put it. Oh and there's a rune that makes you not become invincible for a few seconds after taking lethal damage and it makes me scream because it makes dual blades 5 times harder to kill people with 🥲

Welcome back mate. TO answer your questions 1 - meta feels really good atm but matchmaking is awful :D 2 - your ult falls off probably due to the new rune. Antideath rune and when it procs it removes all cc so you can run away :D

If you read this plum currently the new heavy cav and new purple cav are used a lot in the meta for cavalry. The imperial archers and rattans seem to be the best ranged. And the queens, wuwei, and reapers are the meta infantry

Hey Plumsion there is a new Rune that on death you gain invulnerability for 1sec it really messes with the DB ult and I feel frame locked when that happens. That maybe why you feel your ult is shorter. Runes are very cool this season!

The ult thing you talked about is because of this new BS rune. Basically, u get off any choke move, all cc and get 1 second of invisibility whenever you hit 1 HP. I hate it, it’s the bane of my existence. You can’t kill anyone anymore.

Your ult probably fell off because they had the invuln rune. 1 second of invuln when at 1 hp, freed from anything, choke broken. They were probably glowing golden. Has a 3 minute cooldown after use. Pretty much everyone runs it.

Wuweis kills everything like 60-80 average kills per battle. They need to remove "stagger" on these. New runes are super strong for few weaps. Cav still caving, some ppl came bk to game. Its better imo
