Alcohol sedates, that's why you black out and alot of people confuse that with "deep sleep". Sedation is not sleep. It also affects the strength of the waves generated by your brain during sleep that help with memory that's why we have Korsakoff dementia in chronic alcoholics.

Guys, when you start gyming is when most of your physical traumas you've gone through in life surfaces. You mostly need constant muscle therapy( which muscles are 80%of your body) to get your muscles worked on to reduce tension from daily stresses of life. It's like getting your body serviced the way you get your car serviced. Let me know if I can help with some of these physical discomforts.

Nice stuff... Truth be told we have evolved and it's high time we appreciate that fact and work around it to ensure our bodies don't disintegrate so fast.. So, one exercise is paramount, what we feed our bodies, and how we relate to life situations (mental health matters). And to emphasize exercise should be specific and with the right instructor. Also wished to come on board as a physiotherapist to talk about how our body reacts to exercise and how best to ensure best outcome.

This is a very enlightening episode. I totally agree with your points. I would say that for me, I have learned how not to take things serious and let go of things I cannot control. However on the other side of this coin, I know what I want, I am not scared to ask for what I want and I know what my priorities are. This applies to all situations I am approaching. I also have boldness, without being rude, when I have a conversation. I said what I said mentality. Keep up the great work Queens

Exercise helps your body release endorphins and there is more blood flow to more areas and you get less tired. Also the older you get your gut digestion slows hence the intolerance to some meals.hence being intentional about what you eat is really important bea use you tend to feel like what you eat.

i can relate with the noisy knee thing when doing squats. The popping sound usually comes from air seeping into the soft tissue, finding its way into the area around the joint and causing tiny bubbles in the synovial fluid. When a person bends or stretches their knees, the bubbles can burst with a popping or cracking sound. It it is usually harmless .My hangovers are not as a result of heavy drinking but because i end up with severe insomnia. I limit my drinking to 2 drinks only.

Great chat girls. Anything body weight just gets slower and things will most definitely get rounder and heavier. You will work out and eat well but there’s things that can’t be stopped. Goal becomes being healthy and fitness more than being skinny/ weight loss. You learn to embrace everything and love the gracefulness your body is going into. It allows you to accept and love yourself. Mental wellness and depression, being in your 20s allows you to experience the whole spectrum and then you get intelligent and better recognise what’s going on when you’re older. It’s a skill to acquire and best lessons are learnt through experience.
