"Follow me and I will make you..." Jesus said because it is His specialty to make people who they ought to be. Moses was taking care of sheep in Exodus 3, believing that was his prime assignment. But when God called him at the burning bush, he was redirected to his real assignment. Many Moses are going about shepherding sheep when they ought to be elsewhere.
