So one thing that has really helped me was to keep talking to God in His word, I kept reminding Him He said he would never leave me, and I asked Jesus to pray the Farther for me as He had done for Peter, it took a long time but finally I started seeing evidence He had heard me. I pray I never ever walk away again. I tell the Lord now that I feel like Peter when he told Jesus where would I go, you are the Son of the living God, you have the word to life

I love how you explained this, for when I heard of this unforgivable sin I had the same reaction...like oh my, have I done this and don't know? Basically if a person is concerned whether they have done it is likely ok...and the person who is not concerned whether they have done it is more likely to have done it..if this makes sense.

This was a lie that the Devil sold me around age 14 when I was young in Christ. He made me believe I had done this and it frightened me beyond any fear I had ever felt before because I had not the understanding of what this meant. For a few years I refused in my heart to share this or talk with other Christians about this for fear that I would cause them to do the same by contemplating its meaning. The Devil is a master at deceit and I was captive to this for some time. It was only after someone else a couple of years younger than myself approached me about this that I realised, this is something the devil is very fond of using against young Christians. Thank you brother for reaching out to explain this to other Christians. I dont know if you had a personal experience of this deception on your own life but I want to say this to any other brothers and sisters in Christ that know of the experience I am talking about..... Josh is bang on here. Do not let the Devil trouble you wih this. If you need help understanding more, approach seasoned and strong Christians in your fellowships and do not be afraid of talking about this with them.

although he did turn away for a while he still fed me. clothed me. listened to me and protected me from many near death experiences. and you know when the Hand of God has helped you. his help is perfect. though I walked through many horrible and terrifying things as I'm still being tested and felt like I was alone because I did not hear my Abba or feel him for a long time. he still answered my prayers. fed me when I was starving and brought me to the brink of death several times. I have received many miracles. but I am not special. I always turn back and repent. don't give up because the Father turns his back for a moment. He is still listening and his forgiveness is more effective than anything or anybody will ever be able to explain.

Blaspheming against the Holy Ghost is basically receiving a perfect knowledge of the truth from the power of the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Christ and then turning your whole heart against that witness and then becoming a child of perdition (like Cain). It is like seeing the sun shining and denying that it exists. It is more than just slacking on commandment keeping. It is rejecting all the knowledge you know to be true and going against it.

I believed in my heart it was God but I didn't know exactly what He wanted from me except perhaps to be a celibate.. Thank you for your videos. I have a question. I'm still willing and truly trying to follow Jesus, but I had this thought once or twice (after being delivered from many addictions. Then this thought crossed my mind a few times during the Sunday Church sermon. Plus, I was backslidden.) that I asked Jesus if He was a demon or an unclean spirit. I kind of knowingly refused to believe that Jesus was God and I so afraid if I have done the unpardonable sin. But that happened a few months ago, and I've been struggling (and still.) to come back to the LORD. When ever I get a bad thought I say out loud or in my mind "In Jesus Christ name I order any unclean though, any thought of iniquity to go away." It works, the thought goes away inmideatley and they get less frecuent, any thought of sin is from satan and its demons. Alex Mercer Wrong. People reject Jesus all the time and some then come to salvation. The Bible says nothing about turning away from God in regards to blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. When the Pharisees called the Spirit of God “Satan,” it is at this point that Jesus stopped them in their tracks and warned them about blaspheming the Holy Ghost. Calling the Holy Spirit “Satan,” would in fact be a blasphemous thing to say. This is exactly what Jesus was talking about.

If you are seeking Jesus from the heart then there is still a chance you are not unforgivable, a chance, because one sure sign of being unforgivable is a heart that no longer seeks God . In Hebrews Paul speaks of a person who has experience Salvation on many levels and then rejects it, and turns back to their former ways, like animal sacrifice, or occult practices willing denouncing and rejecting God's Salvation, this is very frightening ground, and God may require great proofs if He decides to allow you to return to Him, I should know as I came very close to doing the unforgivable and was serverely chastised by God . I now pray Jesus continues to pray the Father for me for my faith not to fail ever again and I walk away. Nothing absolutlyGuard nothing is worth loosing God in this life or the life to come. guard your salvation, do not take it for granted, God is not a chump, and will not be mocked.

Guys we all have similar situations as Christians because we are imprefect and always will be, until the day when we are transformed in the twinkling of an eye. I believe that day is soon, I really do. Just remember this.... if you feel you have 'lost the spirit', that feeling you had when you first believed.... that enthusiasm you felt, remember.... faith is not a feeling. I have to continually remind myself of that every day I talk to God and feel the same. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities. I think in the case that Josh is talking about, when a man turns his back on God, he is not talking about back sliding as a follower. He is talking about a determined and hardened heart to God, willingly rejecting the knowledge he has been given. If you are a back slidden believer and have not totally rejected God then you will note that however you 'feel' is irrelevant to God chastening your spirit.

Josh, I'm so grateful for you. Though I've never gone to church I'm ashamed to admit that I've been blessed with more knowledge of the truth than most people who claim Christ ever receive, yet I still feel lost. The first time I stumbled onto one of your videos around a month or so ago I was overwhelmed with fleeting joy before returning to the flesh which I still serve. Although I'm only 30 years old myself, I was happy to see a young guy on youtube speak unaltered truth without any nonsense. I'll admit I also sort of looked down on you though, believing that you were only speaking such truth in a vain attempt at receiving atonement in order to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. I've witnessed such examples countless times as I'm sure you can imagine. Upon encountering such people who preach God's word in vain it's deceptively comforting to feel superior and move on, even though in the back of my mind I know the only difference between myself and such people is that I don't preach what I know since I know it would count for nothing. At the end of the day though I'm still terrified, which I try not to think about. Between yesterday and today though I've come across a few more of your videos, which I believe to be the answer to so many of my prayers. It was immediately clear to me after watching your second video that you actually have the Holy Spirit and that God's working through you. I don't believe I've ever known with such profoundness that somebody is saved. Though I've heard many people preach and have probably come across some people who actually have received the Holy Ghost. I've never known it and their preaching didn't call out to me in such a way. One thing in particular that stuck out almost immediately was that you gave me hope for one day finding community here on Earth. This is something I gave up for impossible a long time ago. Recently I found myself begging God to help me, and lead me to him by any means necessary. Although I asked him to have mercy and use a lenient hand if it's in his will to do so. Many of the titles of your videos I find are questions I've always wondered about, but have always been to scared or lazy to seek myself. Much of God's word I've neglected out of misplaced fear. In my heart though I've always known that most of that fear was only a desire to continue serving the flesh. I've always been afraid to I'd be compelled to stop serving the flesh upon learning God's word. I know how stupid that is, and what a blessing such knowledge would be. Nevertheless, evil and wickedness has always had a strong hold on me. It's power to deceive is terrible. This video itself answers a question I've held about blaspheme which has haunted and filled me with doubt about for years. Much of what I know is by word of mouth professed by people whom I know to be speaking the truth. Yet much of these truths and half truths has been used to deceive me into being afraid to seek. I know I'm a fool among fools. I'm going through something very terrible at the moment which has everything to do with my own weakness and nothing external. Please pray for me. I'd ask someone else, but I've literally got nobody. I'm in a unique circumstance. Something which I hope to tell you about in an email soon, as I plan to ask for some advice and further guidance. You were a professing Christian but if you never repented or confessed your sins then you were never really saved, one could assume you just backslid but no you did not commit the unforgivable sin. If you did God would not have drawn you back to his son.

I thought it was just committing sin for a long time and I was so scared i almost threw up. So I decided not to be scared and ask KZbin, have I committed this sin. And I was just taught Jesus is the savior there is God Mary and the Holy Spirit too. No matter how many times I sin, I just can't not think of Jesus as not the savior. I still try to be very careful and testing every Spirit : 1 John 4:1 (KJV) " Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." Nowadays it is so hard to believe in every single "word of prophecy" or every single "tongues" that are spoken. People start to think that these signs are always necessary and all of a sudden every single time there is gotta have a "word of prophecy" , a "vision", someone speaking in tongues (and never anyone to interpret it btw)... so... I mean, I think there is so much in the Word of God for us to learn, interpret, have revelation from, and to me, that is already enough, -we walk by faith not by sight. Now, if someone comes and really reveals something to me that it is in my heart/mind and that will not twist God's word, I guess I can rely on that "word of prophecy" or "vision", but that doesn't mean to me that I GOTTA ALWAYS have a "word of prophecy" or a vision, or tongues on my walk with the Lord. ... God is not a God of confusion.: 1 Corinthians 14:33 "33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."

So essentially god can do whatever he wants and i dont think context has any standing ground here.

Something though has been worrying me. I just watched a video on KZbin and this girl made a video about how to stop sinning i just figured to watch it and then she said something that startled me. For the last couple months i have been struggling with intrusive thoughts and when they started happening I was screaming and yelling to God to take these evil spirits out of me, to renew His spirit into me and please don't take His spirit out of me. She said if someone says this than they were blasemphing and they were bandage forever because they committed the unpardonable sin. I got really scared and it took me months to get over this and when she said that it really shook me 😪 what I meant was to get these thoughts out like it felt like the enemy was throwing darts into my mind and I couldn't take it anymore. I was crying out to God. Did I go too far?

ffreplica515 I’m not a pastor but I have struggled with this fear too. I think if you blasphemed the Holy Ghost you are given over to reprobate mind. God has abandoned you to your sinful heart. These are the people who just don’t believe or care about God. If you still care about God and and feeling sincere about your guilt and sin that’s the spirit working in you life to bring you to God and repentance. He says this at the end of his video, no man comes knocking on God’s door and gets no answer.

Noel Lugo Be grateful. If you still feel conviction from sin, it means the Holy Spirit is with you. Some people have the knowledge of the truth and never feel conviction when they sin. These people could possibly have been given up by God and handed over to their reprobate minds and Hebrews 6:4 says it is impossible for them to come to repentance. But you are different. You are acknowledging the truth, you've realized that you've been deceived at one point on your life, and now you hunger for Jesus. God bless you sister.

I turned my back on God and ran away and did what God told me not to do and now I fear that was unpardonable. In fact I feared it at the time.. but I didn't believe it. I thought I could be forgiven. I believed God was calling me to be a celibate for Him but I feared and ran away and got myself pregnant anyways.. I feel terrible about what I did to the Lord and I desperately want to repent. I had knowledge but not full knowledge of the Holy Spirit. I was a fairly new Christian but my heart was set on God and still is today. Another way it's not the salvation issue (not accepting Jesus as your savior; thus blaspheming the spirit) is because it EVEN SAYS : *Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, *it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. Matt 12:32 So, if it were blaspheming Jesus that was the unforgivable sin, ehhhh..I could see it being simply refusing salvation. But it's not. It's specifically the holy spirit blasphemy that is unpardonable.

I am deeply troubled by the tongues. i received the baptism of the holy ghost and began to speak in tongues, and through much prayer and in study I read that in Acts chapter 2 , that the gift of tongues was the ability to speak in different Earthly languages. I prayed that if I had received a false gift of tongues that was demonic that I be delivered from it, and I woke up the following day no longer speaking in tongues. I continue to pray that I receive the real gift of tongues which I understand to be the ability to speak in different languages. I still hope and pray that I did not blaspheme the Holy Spirit when I said that I think the Pentecostal tongues maybe something demonic because I was delivered from it

My opinion based on my interpretation of the Scriptures was that speaking in tongues was speaking in one language but all people from other languages would understand it. I could be wrong for I am not 100% sure but I do not believe speaking in tongues is an entirely new language but just speaking and having everyone of different languages understand you.

no the bible talks of tongues of angels and tongues of men. it also says when one speak in tongue they speak to God not to men. the tongue you had is not demonic and if you didn't really know then you didn't commit the sin. many people experience that as a christian. i heard that not all the time you can speak in tongues but i seen some pentecostal people do it. did you receive it one time or were you doing it overtime? both way can be true as far as i know. 1 corinthians 14:For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.

i have got blaspehmy thoughts, so i started to obsesse positive thoughts about God and the Holy Spirit, everyday no rest I had compulsions to say “God is Good, the devil is evil” etc, I did it every second and it was so exhausting but I did it to avoid every negative thought, but then I couldn’t take it so I stopped and then all the blasphemy thoughts came again and I thought them without resisting them, and I have thought them purposely too without temptation... idk if I can be saved... When you commit this sin with full knowledge that Jesus is the Son Of God then you cannot be forgiven. The holy ghost is about FORGIVENESS! Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit severs that forgiveness. If you are worried then you did not commit it. When someone does commit the sin they no longer care about Jesus or being saved. Blasphemy against the Spirit is living in unbelief until death. If you believe and trust you will be saved and it is forever.

I did the same thing but right before I did I felt that maybe it was God speaking to me but I didn't pray or receive him and had never received the holy spirit beforehand and had no prior spiritual relationship with god or anything like that. I made the decision because I was bullied a lot at school and thought I would be able to wield around demon power to hurt people i didn't like (i was 14 at the time). God spoke to me when my whole life fell apart and I went to a church and afterwards there was intercessory prayer and i asked to pray for my grandmother but the person said that we need to pray for me because she said that i'm alone and in pain (I grew up in an extremely abusive home) and that he has a plan for me and to have patience and faith. Since then god has answered many of my prayers and i have greatly repented seeking him. have i blasphemed the holy spirit? if so then why would god use me, change me, answer my prayers, and heal the pain in my heart?

Those are what we call intrusive thoughts.. It does not come from the heart.. I've been there too when I was a baby in Christ.. Do not worry dear. :)) God allows those intrusive thoughts for good.. It's either someone who has rejected the truth so much and God turned them over to one or if you are saved and you think you can live in willful sin and keep willfully sinning, you will be turned over to a reprobate mind. It's basically someone who wants to live in willful sin and God basically just pulled the plug on them. However, I've heard people say that you were a reprobate before you got saved if you lived in willful sin. I'm not sure how true this is because you eventually came to the truth.

I’m convinced I done this and I have no peace. I basically had experience of the Holy Spirit and the power of it when I decided to follow the Catholic Church, I later decided to get baptised else where because I thought the Catholic Church wasn’t necessarily good. One day I said to someone the spirit guiding me there was fake and I then realised it was the Holy Spirit I just called fake. But their official teaching about this sin as found in the catechism of the Catholic Church is that it is final impenitence. I still look at it and see I done it though.

@Tricia Perry il pray for you. It is never to late to repent for anyone in this life. Jesus’s mercy is infinite so fear not when you approach him. It rests him to forgive and his love for us is without limit. You’ll be fine just ask him into your heart and have faith he WILL save you and forgive you if you really want it. I was a catholic when I blasphemed christ but it was the false image of him of course , however I like job cursed the day I was born but unlike him I took it further by cursing God for ever creating me. I hated myself for being sinful or at that time "the way i was" and for my physical imperfections and lack of worldly idols. So I cursed god for creating me and wished death upon him because I hated myself and when I prayed I wanted and even dared him to kill me. As long as you are striving to know God then you are doing real good. We die for lack of knowledge. Our lack of knowledge of who Jesus is now. They will keep all evil from you. Put the armour of God on all those you love. May the Spirit/voice of both The Father and The Son go with us all, for from the heart the mouth speaks. Let the Law that hung on the cross and the Law written in your heart not just guide you, but lead you and your loved ones. As Paul would say, put on Jesus. Psalms 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, Hebrews 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
