Yea. Im also wondering why there were no medical professionals involved. Police must have noticed that OP had something in their system and at least were I live they get a doctor to draw blood, if necessary a court order to get the blood against a suspected intoxicated persons will. On this case it was farely careless to just incarcerate op. Even someone who looks just drunk usually gets tested to know how drunk they are. Especially since, according to the law were I come from, driving a bicycle while under the influence is also drunk driving. Even though I guess the limit is higher... So yeah...

Never talk to the police without a lawyer. Never sign any documents unless they moving violation. If they wronged you, always fight to make sure your name is clear. It may cost money, but in the long run, it will save you so much.

The good part of living in Brazil is even if you go to prison, you simply can move into another state, get a brand new civil ID and now you have a name without any criminal records, the only downside is that you only can do that 26 times.

I got arrested for street racing while stuck behind a clapped out hoopty doing ten under because I was conveniently located for the cop to hit another kid who'd blown past me a mile prior (but was at the same light ironically) on more charges than just near-felony speeding. My lawyer was utterly worthless and refused to believe me. I ended up with 250 hours of community service, but the judge misspoke a couple times and said 200. So when I came back to court I almost went to jail anyway because HE refused to believe me that he could have misspoke. Fortunately a little old man who'd been there at the previous hearing told him he remembered that as well (He was probably bullshitting as he was my dad but I'll never know now, lol) Annnnnd the stenographer had actually recorded that he had in fact said 200 instead of 250. So I got off with 218 hours community service for a crime I could not have committed. Oh, and the stinking pig also only gave the tow service my ignition key for a 2 key car. Took the secretary half an hour to finally find the rest of my key ring in an envelope with my name on it kicked under the farthest corner of said cop's desk. Nobody liked that officer and he didn't like anyone. Especially liked picking on people under the age of 25.j

1st Story: the OP wasn't technically arrested and more then likely the bus driver was s***-canned for breaching the 'safe space' policy 2nd Story: OP was lucky with the first arrest as it could of easily gone south and for arrest 2 its called fraud u dope... 8th Story: yes let's try to justify theft of any sort...

Got arrested after an ex made up allegations of abuse. Getting arrested and spending a day in jail was miserable. My dad was a deputy in the jail at the time so I ended up in protective custody and spent my entire stay in a medical cell by myself. I read an entire sci-fi book that was pretty garbage but had to do something to pass the time. I ended up getting bailed out by my dad. It took 8 months and a lawyer who actually believed me fighting to get the charges dropped when the ex changed her story on the stand. I got lucky that she couldn’t keep her bs straight. She was angry with me that I wanted to leave her and she wanted to get back at me by destroying my life and career. The part that really makes my blood boil still thinking about it was she had no consequences, the DA said it wasn’t worth it to pursue the falsification charges because they were misdemeanors even though mine were felonies. Definitely walked away after that relationship and never looked back.

An older gentleman at my mother's church once told young-teen me, that if I cracked open a bunch of firecrackers and dumped their gunpowder into some tinfoil, rolled it up, and wrapped it tightly with electrician's tape, with a fuse in one end, I could make a small bomb this way. I was young and stupid at the time, so I decided to try it out. I had plans to use my "bomb" to blow up a huge ant hill that existed at the back of my parents' property, but the Friday before I intended to use it, I ended up in the councilor's office of the middle school I was attending at the time, for some sort of extra curricular-related thing or another, I completely forget what. I-again, being young and stupid-happily announced my plans for the weekend when asked. Trouble is, this was back in the nineties, right in the middle of that period where the whole country was paranoid about kids bringing weapons to school, so my (probably just as stupid) councilor somehow took this as me being a threat to the school. Cops were called in, my locker was searched, I got taken to the police station in a squad car, for questioning. My parents got involved, and they. Were. Pissed! ...at the school for making such a big deal over this, at the cops for taking me in without consulting them first, and of course, at me, for being a total moron. Nothing ever really came of it, but hey! That's how quiet, mild-mannered me, ended up (briefly) arrested for "threatening to blow up the school."

Not m but my dad, had a falling out with his sister over he not being able to pay her rent. So his sister and his neice got together and amped each other up until they imagined a story that literally couldnt be true (mental illness is a big problem on that side if the family, eapecially for the women), and my dads sister who was the mustress of a former da was able to get some charges placed. First on a 25yo unregistered vehicle ticket that wasn't his vehicle, then an assault investigation for a time when he had no contact with that person in question from 20 yeaes prior. For three more years it was every few minths the police would come looking for him (different ones each time, probably because the others knew the story) and he'd be arrested for the same unpaid ticket. The kicker is he had to plea to the assault charge because it was in the system but the victim couldnt be found. This isnt at all how courts are supposed to work but the state is able to bring charges in someones behalf, but he didnt habe the money to fight after losing jobs from the other arrests.

Why is the guy confused on getting in trouble for using those Target cards? It doesn't matter if the cards were to be trashed. It's still fraud.
