Sometimes it’s not about what you tow across the scales, sometimes it’s about what you leave at the dock. Just because you have a few bad tournaments you still hold your head high and believe in yourself. A lot of guys would quit and go home. So the life lessons you teach everyone about not giving up and having a positive attitude is sometimes more valuable than cashing a check.

You got this brother we all had bad patches. Ive had an entire year where i didnt make the cut. A few of them i showed up to the stage with no fish. But we keep pushing. Nobody said fishin for a living would be easy. Get um in BAMA brother. Elites coming to smith for the first time. Thats right in your wheelhouse. Was great hanging with yall at Murray and was being serious. You changed my life an in many ways saved it. I been following you 20 plus years but can honestly say if i didbt come across your PMA videos when i did i probably wouldnt he here. And that means so much more than fishing. I lost a $6,000 smallmouth in college... over a decade ago. I still feel that one. It was on film, too. I wish I still had that video. 2021, I got close to the big show. Just have to keep at it.

I won’t never know because i haven’t been blessed with plenty of money,but i wonder how bad it hurts to suck at tournament fishing when you have a big bank account,tons of sponsors,200k rig boat/truck,always wondered,also can you buy enough of whatever you need to keep competing,just curious 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you know how G-Man has what he has today? He started out struggling to achieve a dream, eating bags of 35 cent hamburgers from McDonald's and sleeping in a truck because hotels cost too much. He, and many like him, achieved their dreams and successes thru hard work and dedication; they do not have a goose laying golden eggs to pay for it all. Those that do still require a measure of hard work to achieve their goals/dreams, if they don't work hard money will dry out before success is achieved.

Gman done it the hard way, it's not like these young anglers of today, that fish high school and college. They have a better platform to come off of to make it to the elites. These older guys made it through hard work, sweat and tears. My opinion is if these young guys today had to make it like gman did , alot of them would have gave up . Gman, don't let a few keyboard warriors get you down. You and a few others stand for what's right in this sport. Doing the right thing, even when nobody is looking........
