Have you ever read the Bible and the Quran together? I started this the DAY i began researching deeper into islam 6 years ago & started reading through a translation of the Quran. The first experience i had, was reading the Bible blatantly tell us Muhammad was coming after Jesus. I couldnt stop this method ever since subhanAllah.

All religions are man made. 3/4 of the stories Quran are edited copies from Biblical myths and legends, which were made up by writers of the books that formed the Bible, or copied from ancient Babylonian, Greek, Canaanite and Egyptian myths. The similarities do not support the common divine origin, because these stories contradict science and proven history through archeology and comparative parallel human history. Biblical and Quranic morality is also focused on supremacy, exclusion, land annexation in the name of the divine, enslavement of women as sex slave, acceptance of slavery and belief in superstition, non existent beings, magic and the power of prayers.. Also a childish belief in eternal heaven and hell with various degrees of bodily pleasures or sadistic torture for ever and ever and ever…

The current Bible is NOT the Injil or gospel of Jesus. So whilst it has truths in it that mirror our beliefs we don’t take it as scripture. The same with the Torah. We are only told they had scriptures but that they were changed. We leave it at that, with the Quran being the filter to see what is true or false in their scriptures.

Also, Jesus's gospel is present with us, not only in the 4 gospels, but in the Old Testament and prophets also and it is the Torah and the Prophets which Jesus actually taught from! The Torah was destroyed many times, first by Moses (a.s.) in the destruction of the stone tablets when the Israelites were worshipping a Golden Calf, then it was destroyed over and over when the Israelites disobeyed God and got taken into captivity. The Torah was rewritten by Ezra the scribe. It was later copied by Scribes who changed some of what was written. Document analysis claim that the Torah was written by more than four different writers. The Torah is not preserved. The New Testament consists mostly of letters sent by Paul (the wicked priest). Paul, even after he claimed to become "Christian" was the enemy of the disciples. Paul taught his version of Christianity to the people who didn't know the "Old Testament". Paul legalized what was unlawful. Paul tried to claim that he was "sent to the gentiles" even though Jesus (a.s) said that he came for the "lost sheep of Israel". The lost sheep are the 10 lost tribes and Yehudi (Judah and Simeon). The messenger to the gentiles is the last prophet Muhammad (salalahu alayhi wa salam), who was prophesized by Jesus (alayhi wa salam). Christians incorrectly claim that it is the "Holy Spirit". The Holy Spirit is an angel (Angel Gabriel) who brings the revelations to the Messenger Prophets (Moses, Jesus, David, Muhammad peace be upon them all). Christians incorrectly assert this as the Holy Spirit falling upon them as a flame and causing them to "talk in tongues". During this time the real followers of Jesus were called Gnostics by the Greeks, because they had secret knowledge of the whereabouts of Jesus. The people called "Gnostics" (by the Greeks) were persecuted and their collection of writing were destroyed, except for what they hid. Why are there "Gospels" according to Mark and Luke? These people admittedly never met Jesus, neither did Paul. The Bible (Old and New Testaments) are not divinely preserved. If you want truth, read the Qur'an.

I enjoy reading both the Qur'anic and Biblical versions of the story of The Prophet Yusuf (Joseph). Genesis (37-50) Al Quran. Súrat Yusuf (1-22), Sůrat Al An'am ( 6 : 84), Sůrat Ayat (40 : 34). This is a great comparative study of The Prophet Joseph (Yusuf), as we are not only reaffirmed of the struggles and blessings of The Prophet Yusuf (Joseph), but by reading both the Qur'anic and Biblical versions we glean so much more insight into the life of The Prophet Joseph (Yusuf). God is Seeing of everything you do." .....In the above verses Surah 57:3 and 4, we see that ayah 3 has THE TITLE: The First and the Last" followed by verse 4, which has a CREATION STORY. ....Now if we look at Isaiah 48:12 and 14, we see *EXACTLY* the same! *ISAIAH 48:12-13* *TITLE:* "Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I called! I am he; *I am the First, and I am the Last."* *CREATION:* Isa 48:13 *"My hand laid the foundation of THE EARTH, and my right hand spread out THE HEAVENS* ; when I call to them, they stand forth together." There is only one conclusion to the above similarities and that is that whoever wrote Surah 57:3-4 was using the information in Isaiah 48:12-13 to create it!

Surat Al Ma'idah (Q 5 :48) To thee We sent the Scriptures in tuth, confirming the scriptures that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth, that hath come to thee. To each among you have We prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would of made you a single people, (His plan is) to test youin what He hath given you. So strive as in a race in all virtues.The goal of you all is to Allah, it is He that will show youthe truth of the matters in which ye dispute. Surah Yusuf (Q 12 : 111) In their stories there is truly a lesson for people of reason. This message cannot be a fabrication, rather ' it is ' a confirmation or previous revelation, detailed explanation of all things, a guide, and a mercy for people of faith. Ok, so what we see when we compare how BOTH couplet verses have been composed, we find that they contain IDENTICAL critical points in 2 verses together! These are not isolated or random verses but on the contrary, they have been intentionally put together like this as a couplet. The first verse is related to the second verse in each case, whether in the Quran or in the Bible! It is virtually impossible for a similarity of this detail and closeness to simply occur by a random nature! It does NOT happen randomly from a literary point of view.....or any other point of view for that matter! So there has to be an explanation for this. It is feasible for an occasional similarity of *ONE POINT OF INFORMATION* to occur randomly, but NOT in the case like this where there are two consecutive verses each mirroring two consecutive verses in the Bible with the SAME CRITICAL INFORMATION IN EACH, mirroring *TWO ESSENTIAL POINTS OF INFORMATION* ! ...So the above is simply fact, but what do we make of this? How did this happen? Why did it happen? If we are honest questioning people who seek truth, we should find answers to this question, not bury our heads in the sand and say 'Allah knows best' etc, etc - that is simply burying one's head in the sand and hoping it will go away! There are I would suggest 3 possibilities to explain this: 1) Allah simply gave the same information in each of his revelations, just as he said he revealed the same message in 'previous scriptures' 2) Someone cleverly 'changed' the Bible after it was written and replaced some words from the Quran INTO the Bible so that it has the same contents in Isaiah 48:12 -13 as it does in Surah 57: 3 - 4 3) The author of the Quran USED the contents of Isaiah 48:12 - 13 to create the contents of Surah 57:3 - 4 From the position of 'belief' you might prefer to choose number (1) and not think any more about it. Or failing that if you weren't convinced by number (1) you might choose number (2) if you believe the Bible can be "changed" and so somehow someone "changed" it to favour Islam? (though how that could possibly happen is extremely hard to see!) But if you were an analytical, intelligent, observant and honest person, you might come to the conclusion that it must be number (3)! Why is this? If you choose number (3) as the cause, then you will be analysing this phenomenon critically just as any normal literary academic would, because number (3) is actually the only logical and plausible explanation - whoever wrote Surah 57:3-4 was using Isaiah 48:12-13 to supply ideas and content in writing it! But there's more to this than that, because the words *THE FIRST AND THE LAST* are a Divine Title that was first used by YHWH in the Bible in Isaiah's prophecies. It was also used by Jesus in the Book of Revelation:- Bearing in mind your quotation of Surah 5 :48 which says the Quran confirms the scriptures that came before it, we have the following verses which came before the Quran, which the Quran is then confirming by Surah 57:3 - 4: *Isaiah 44:6* "Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: *“I AM THE FIRST AND I AM THE LAST* ; besides me there is no god." *Isaiah 48:12-13* "Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I called! I am he; *I AM THE FIRST AND I AM THE LAST.* My hand laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together." *Revelation 1:9* "Rev 1:8 *“I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA,”* says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” *Revelation 1:17* "Rev 1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, *I AM THE FIRST AND THE LAST* , and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades." *Revelation 22:13* "Rev 22:13 *I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE LAST* , the beginning and the end.” We should note Isaiah 44:6 God says this: *"the King of Israel AND HIS Redeemer"* - this is referring to TWO not one, because of the possessive pronoun 'His'. This means that in this verse God is saying he has a Redeemer! And he speaks of himself as *THE FIRST AND THE LAST* ...beside me there is no god. In the book of Revelation, Jesus spoke and revealed that *He himself spoke as THE FIRST AND THE LAST* , the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end! What you actually have in your Quran is *a sign in Surah 57:3 which POINTS DIRECTLY TO JESUS!* This is because Jesus is *THE FIRST AND THE LAST!* How it got there, is open to question, but what this means is that even in your Quran, you have a sign pointing to the Divine Title of Jesus, the Messiah, NOT simply as 'a prophet' but as *GOD'S REDEEMER!* (that is one who is to Redeem mankind). This is also why Surah 57 is speaking in "the 3rd person" in verb form - ie "He", not "I". The author is not speaking of himself, but pointing to another, using the 3rd person form of speech!

Means:{ O, Mohammad, say `(The fact is) “ He is Allah -The ONE and only and INDIVISIBLE . -`ALLÂH is that Supreme Being Who is The INDEPENDENT and Besought of ALL , ONE Who is always sought at times of need, and UNIQUE in all His attributes. -`He begets NONE and is begotten by NO ONE. -NOR is there ANYONE EQUAL to HIM’ ALLÂH The Almighty Creator , NEITHER match NOR comparison.

There is no harm doing the research and even when you listen to many tafseers, they say "Quran does not give the details (as it was not relevant or necessary in Allah's plan) however you can get the details in the Old Testament ".

​@@NoToBusinessCasual the details of worship are in the Sahih books of Hadith (bukhari, muslim, abu dawud, al-nasai) of the prophet & scholarly works (imam ahmed, imam malik, al-tabari tafsir, etc), the "Bible" is not from God, we don't even have it in original language this is why it's pointless to read... even if the torah is in "hebrew" which was a lost language that was reconstructed using Arabic btw, there's no proof that it is from Allah or it has been preserved, the Qur'an says all these books are corrupt.
