I’m a Pacific Islander from a tiny island in Micronesia in the western Caroline island called Yap. Although, Fiji is enormous and culturally different compared to my tiny island, I enjoy all your videos as they remind me of my home island. The local food, lifestyle, people, farming, the red dirt, and just the simple village life brings me a sense of nostalgia. Thank you for filming your village life and sharing it to the world. I tried cooking it once, Vakalolo, after watching Fijian cooking videos. Would have it with fried flour or doughnuts. Absolute loved it. Might make some again.

Vakalolo looks yummy we in samoa got a similar desert called fausi but it's made with taro or papaya but that looks yummy its sad to see your parents go back to Canada safe trip I can't believe it's been six weeks it's fast but much alofas and blessings be safe

Nope I disagree with the collaboration , Uraia Tabua content is PG , PG 13 & sometimes can Be 'R' (RESTICTED) •Strong and Explicit Language ●L1- Strong Language ●L2- Explicit Language •Sexual reference and content ●S1- Mild Sexual situations ●S2 - Explicit Sexual situations & Drug reference and content ●D1- Mild drug reference or content. Where as The Waka Family is 'G' (GENERAL AUDIENCES ) nothing that would offend parents for viewing by children

Oh, so that is the " Sivaromaca" That's my favorite vakalolo. I thought they use dalo only. Now, I know that we can combine dalo and cassava. That is called the " dari ni vakalolo" We had one in my childhood home growing up.

That is not VAKALOLO. It’s called SIVAROMACA. VAKALOLO is made from Caramelised coconut milk whereas SIVAROMACA is from grated coconut flesh.

Vakalolo is fiji desert...only worst thing about it is the coconut part ...get a coconut SCRAPER MACHINE bro.. it's pretty handy, since almost everything needs coconut milk in fiji

He was in the episode where the boys went on a shopping spree and then later went to Coffee Hub. He was their boat captain on that day. He was also in the birthday cake episode. The boat engine died and his boat went over and towed everyone back to the village.
