My 86 Ram from California had minimal rust but I removed my skin in one piece. I posted mine on my channel, I cut all the spot welds from the drip rails and took a thin cut off wheel and cut the rear spot welds and took the skin off and sanded and put POR15 on all surfaces. Then I re welded the spot welds around the drip rail and then spot welded the rear around the seam area then hit it with seam sealer. Also I used fluid film to coat the roof in between with wool wax.

Pretty amazing they never coated the inside of the roof.. Good video man can’t wait for more. Love watching this content I do like these old trucks a lot! Lol
