45 minutes waiting in the waiting room, 5-7 minutes once the Dr. arrives. Absolute travesty & evil.

I started having perimenopausal symptoms in my early 40s. Now at 50, i can see all the health issues ive had since as such, meanwhile no doctor i saw about them mentioned that, or gave me any solutions. Changed my PCP, but a year later, still hv not booked a well care appointment. The level of distrust is so great now 😢

I’m 47, my symptoms (perimenopause) started at 37 and I just found out a couple of months ago. A new “health problem” every year seems like. All perimenopause. 🙁

My doc must be a diamond in a rough…..I’m definitely in with her more than 15-20min. It’s why I’ll follow her

*EXCUSE ME?!!!* This “Menopause Practitioner” lady needs to meet me outside. Because 34 SYMPTOMS, WHAAAAT?! I thought there were 10-15 symptoms, depending on who you listen to. Um, *NO Ma’am! I do NOT need any. more. symptoms. Sheesh!!*

It start in the mid-thiries for some women, which need to a cade study and research. When I was 40, I ask the nurse practices about the tests like bone density, thyroid and other stuff. She ask me why? I told I read it's a good idea to get the tests done to have a marker. She said they don't do that till after between 50 -60 years old.

I get flushed since ive been on methotrexate for my lupus but as far as the list that was presented ive had all the symptoms for a very long time prior to and during COVID. I would ask my gyn to run hormone test to see what was going on with my levels, which she stated i didnt need and that i wasn't planning on having anymore children. I chucked it up to it being my endometriosis and fibroids acting up giving me the symtoms. Not knowing all along i was suffering with an invisible disease. An autoimmune issue which didnt have a clear diagnosis at the time, after having a stroke at 28, after miscarriages, and being placed on antindepressants while on birth control until there was no need for the pill again. To have doctors tell me it would be best to have a hysterectomy while struggling with my body and its issues.

Some women do experience perimenopause earlier than others.... this is not new
@AngelaGlover-pl6fm19 сағат бұрын
This is true but the incidents are increasing due to a lack of education and not receiving the correct diagnoses. It is more than we know! 😢
