Bellingham is literally the best midfielder in the world right now. Full stop. He has everything in his bag. England need to bench Foden & Kane to have a chance. Both have this lazy, no pressing, big headed playing style. I mean they couldn't even make simple A to B passes last night.. Pure footballing ability...ie...when the ball is at your feet. So...first touch, balance, control, ability to work in tight spaces, dribbling. Then other stuff like passing, off the ball movement, those are just extra assets beyond just the raw footballing ability.

They need to move Bellingham to the 8, remove Trent, put Saka as wingback, and then put Foden as a 10. The problem with England is that unlike Spain, France and other countries, they go with PR and is “cool” versus what works and gets results. The fans are too tribal and stuck in their ways. They want players like Foden dropped and Saka and Bellingham to be immune from any criticism just to push some narrative. Criticising Saka and Bellingham is “racially motivated” and is “racist” now, while at time blaming white players for the shortcomings for their favorite players who happen to be black. These English really need to decide if race and agendas are important than winning. That’s how low some of these fans are willing to go for their agenda. They all downplayed Foden from the start of the season, comparing him to Saka, discounting him because he plays for the Man City, the “cheating” club etc. They called Grealish the £100 million flop. I started watching the premier league recently and everyone was talking about how good Saka is, oh he gets into the Real Madrid combined 11 (and 9 other Arsenal players lol), he’s “star boy”. I thought he was extremely good until I watched him and I was disappointed. Just another robotic player. But he’s a “nice guy” I guess, even though that means NOTHING in football. These people don’t understand that when you hype up people like Saka and Mainoo, you also set them up for huge amounts of criticism. All of those articles and newspapers stories made on Bellingham, Saka and Mainoo isn’t because of “racism”. It’s because they’re being accountable to the standard that you claim that they’re at. It’s also ragebait because they know that these players have the most cult like fans who will click on any article about them just to get angry. This is why Foden will always be the best player in that team. He isn’t protected from criticism and he doesn’t have a cult of personality around him. He’s actually dedicated to football and improving and actually does his job, no PR. That’s why he will be a legend, while those frauds Saka and Bellingham will fade into obscurity and the aforementioned will be finished by 27 due to playing too many games. Mbappe will come and the Bellingham PR will be over. Once Arda Guler and Nico Paz start playing more in the next two seasons and Modric leaves, Bellingham will have a diminished role in the team and he definitely won’t be a 10. Then it will be undeniable that that guy cannot control a game and has a poor technique. It would actually be ironic because they would start playing him as a box to box which is his original, and best position.

Trash analysis. How is Foden a better footballer than Jude? Let me even ask, what metrics do you use to determine who is a better footballer. Jude plays box to box effectively, is a very good tackler, wins balls, creates, scores goals, provides cover for the defence, is good aerially, should I go in? Does Foden do all this, aside from dribbling better? If dribbling is your yardstick then something is wrong. Someone who ticks all the boxes of the traits I mentioned above is a better footballer.

@@hashimrahman51Jude is just a big guy that runs and is athletic. His first touch isn’t that good, and he goes missing in important games, because he is only about results. This means he can make late runs and score, but he can’t really do much else and he definitely cannot dictate the pace of a game. He just doesn’t have the tools to be a 10 so he just has to focus on what he is good at and play as a box to box 8

Great watch as always. I think Foden has a place in this team just not in the current configuration they are using. And Renk basically hit the nail on the head during the hangout, that basically England need to do what Argentina did with regards to finding the best system for their current crop of players rather than just trying to throw their best players into an XI and pray it works. Thats why for example players like Dybala got sacrificed and like Renk was mentioning someone like Rodrigo De Paul has become vital for Argentina even tho theres more talented midfielders they have on paper but they simply dont do the job hes able to do. So i think Foden can be a starter for them in occasional games and be a key sub off the bench but for the current setup they want they need a left winger whos gonna offer something different and also help Kane etc And many national teams have had to do the same. Coz international football is about getting the best out of your resources. This isn't club football where you have time to mold and shape a team or make transfers etc

I will not argue and say Saka Is a better player than him because this season proved that he is bitter but he's only better in this Man City team play with a different style. foden is a midfielder highly technical not blessed with electric pace or power. Playing with Trent and Bellingham in midfield is like Oil and water Replace Trent with Cole palmer in that midfield and Foden Cole Palmer would look much better and Kayne would not need to be dropping that deep to play as a midfielder. England is a Pace and Power football nation in their DNA Foden and Cole Palmer will die under English coaches at club and National levels (That is why england will NEVER produce a Ronaldino Messi Neymar Alexis Sanchez , Jota , David Silva , Bernado Silva Xavi , Iniestia ) these are not pace and power players = 100 Bellinghams and Gerrads Lampart. He's too important Mainno or Trent starts because of their ability and passing range and foden is not really a eight. And the 10 spot is Jude's and call Palmer if he starts would either have to replace jude or Saka. Which is not happening because one is too good and the other one is too consistent.

Something people overlook also is Foden is the only player whose professional football career has been Pep from start to finish. I don't think he's a system player like your J5, but that he knows nothing else other than Pep ball. Foden has qualities to adapt to different systems. Analogy: it's like when I left my home to varsity in a state where they spoke a language I didn't know and I struggled to communicate, but now I can. Foden is not more talented than Saka. Even without a good performance, high quality still shows. Foden looks totally bland outside of Man City. There's no hint of high quality so far. Saka would be rated higher if he was in that City team. Bellingham, Saka, and Palmer are more naturally talented in my opinion.
