Hi Isobel & Chris. Hope you are having a fab time in Clakkers. Love a caravan holiday. We often stay in St. Osyth at Seawick holiday park about 8 miles from Clacton as we have family living just outside. My goodness you are just like me I always overpack. I even have my own caravan bag, which I store a little clothes airer like the one in your cupboard. Corkscrew and I like to have my own mug., I also keep tea towels & hand towels Have a lovely birthday Chris. Soo just up the road from you xx

Hi Soo, Chris said Hi too. Oh really, i will have a look into that holiday park! We actually really enjoyed Clacton aka as you call it, clakkers lol so funny. I should have know as you're from Essex being so close. Oh no not you aswell! We are terrible aren't we but we have to make sure we pack the essentials! lol. The weather has been wonderful looks like you had a great time despite the fire drama 🙈😅 not stayed with Haven for ages right now with dad still waiting his hip replacement we can only stay anywhere with a disabled access and parking as he can barely walk now not sure when we'll get to go on holiday again happy belated birthday to Chris too how fab to have a birthday away! 🙌💖

Hey chick. We are going away with Chris mom in September and as she's disabled we didn't realise Haven have disabled access caravans, they look amazing and so accessible. Definitely worth checking out and they do disabled discounts too for 15% off the price. I hope he's doing okay though bless him. And Chris said thank you for his belated birthday wishes ❤️❤️

Just had 7 nights at this site last week, caravan was filthy compared to the previous 5 Haven holidays. Been to Primrose Valley twice & those caravans were spotless. 3 more Haven holidays booked for next year, can't complain too much at these prices. Next one is Hopton in Norfolk, 14 nights for £212.

How disappointing! We always get frustrated when the caravans are dirty it's almost like they're rushing and not doing it properly! I know the cleaners work hard but when you've spent a lot of money it's unfair. But I do agree, the prices are really reasonable and I like how you can pay monthly too. We're going back to Prestatyn next year and we've got a Gold caravan for less than £200, amazing!

I'm driving down to Birmingham at the end of the month to watch some Commonwealth Games. I live in Northumberland - when yo drive up to Hartlepool, what way do you go? Just M1 and M6? Hey Katie. Thank you so much, we did have a safe journey home but as you mention driving to Birmingham, wow the traffic!! LOL. It wasn't great but soon as you enter the M6 towards Birmingham it always becomes a little heavier, which i guess is expected. So where we are from we join the M6 through Birmingham and then we join the M42 then it goes through the A42 then the M1 then the A1 (M) and then it goes onto the A19. I mean this is what google Maps is telling me directly from Wolverhampton to Hartlepool Marina for example as we normally stop in the Premier Inn there. I mean the Journey to Hartlepool is fine but to leave Wolverhampton we drive and leave before 8am or after 10am because of the morning Birmingham traffic, but I'm assuming you're staying over in Birmingham maybe as i know it's a lengthy drive. I hope you have fun for the Commonwealth Games. Lots happening, we keep getting flyers through our doors to be careful of traffic or closed roads. Hope this helps Katie, long essay lol xx

Oh I think you'll have a lovely time. However where we were on the camp, as I showed on the video, signal was quiet bad. Struggled a lot to send messages or go on the Internet via mobile data. So bare that in mind. I had to hang out the caravan to upload things lol. But it didn't stop it being a great holiday. I guess you make it how you want it. But I'd be interested to see how you find it 😊
