I appreciate your classes on English grammar. You are giving ample examples to make Your point clear. This class seems to be on have/ have not mainly. I thought you would clarify the main point. Most of the students do not know that main verbs can not be changed to negative. It takes the help of an auxiliary verb among the 24 as an helper to make negatives. However helping Verbs when act as main verb are Capable for both functions. Have/ has / do / does are some among those auxillary verbs. Semi modals are an exception to above aspect. I don't reckon that You gave us a lesson on semi Modals like dare, need etc.Hope You will shed more light on this While teaching semi modals. Keep going ..All the best.

Continued.. Regarding I have got a car. I have a car. The former is purely British English not universal in nature. Here the main verb is proceeded by a helping verb, thus negative is have not got. In the latter, we takes the help of an auxiliary .. do ..thus I don't have a car. Thanks ..catch you later.

Really appreciate your valuable feedback!! In fact I've uploaded many a video on how have, do and be function as both main and helping verbs. Some videos were on making sentences with have/ do as auxiliary verbs negative; the point that main verbs can't be negated just by adding 'not' was driven home there. 😅 In this video, I just focussed on the difference between haven't/ hasn't and don't have/ doesn't have. 😊
