Little warning for ya I speak from experience the Friday event is way less organized. I think they just put all the ghetto clans in there. So ya nothing like the Sunday event. But it's still 200 vs 200 so ya it will still be fun.

No mate no you need pc for multiple reasons sorry. I remember being in your exact position like 1 year ago and now I've went to a 100 of these events. Ya you need mods witch consoles don't have and bannerlord is not cross-platform so ya. Don't even try playing multiplayer on console it's dead as f. Sorry mate. Pc?

Keep turning up and taking part in the events and your leader will promote you. Its very easy to join and you can have your induction the same day as the event if you contact them :)
