Film photography POV in Tokyo - Contax T2 + Cinestill 800t

Tonight I bring you on a photowalk through Tokyo at night.
I hit up a few spots that showcase the nightlife of Shinjuku/Shibuya & shoot it with my Contax T2 + Cinestill 800t.
Possibly being one of my favourite combinations for photography I hope you enjoy the images that I produced ✌🏼

videos get better every time. the atmosphere, the photos, the tips and tricks, the composition, crazy good. For me personally the only thing (nitpicking) I'd change are the subtitles, either the font size, color or both. Would love to see this video with those typical bolder yellow subtitles, reminding me of some older chinese and japanese movies i enjoy edit: this vid makes me feel the gratification when taking a picture and knowing it turned out really good

05:27 - paused here to comment: I have no idea what on earth is going on here but I'm loving it so much Tats! :o Is the focus slightly off and hence the image looks so textured? Combined with the dark shadows across the frame this just works sooo well!

ahaha yeah the focus is slightly off 😅 I was shooting with manual focus and I missed the subject but It looks so cool and strange in the end

Thanks Sabrina!! Got everything developed and scanned in Tokyo! Might re scan some stuff myself now that I’m home though 🤭

Thank you! Im pretty sure it was C-41, a small lab in Tokyo processed all my film this trip :)

@@Havenotats have you tried Reflx Lab 800T it is an alternative version of Cinestill and cheaper, i'm shooting with this film I haven't revealed yet for now my experience with him has been very positive

Do you have the flash light on? or under what condition you will use it?

Flash gives the foreground a pop and helps isolate subjects, sooo I use it for situations where I want to capture the foreground or if I want the image to pop Otherwise I find no flash is great for capturing scenes “naturally”. Cinestill has great halation that are more pronounced without flash
