Nice system. I changed my equipment bag to a Hidden Woodsman and kept my Pathfinder bag for my food bag. Also, I have a very nice 1988 Westfalia with a little more that ninety thousand actual miles. I love that thing. Cheers, Robert

Kenn, thanks for the kind words. Willow has grown to be even more a pretty pup. She needs to go everywhere I go. A true friend. Your observation are all on point, but I’m only a few miles from home in the woods. If I was heading out for a longer hike or possible overnight. Thanks for looking close. Cast Iron Kid.

Thanks for sharing your video with us and your loveable puppy!!! :>) Nothing like a good dawg to share your time in the outdoors (well...indoors too!). A couple of comments regarding the contents of your bag...Yes, I understand everyone packs their own bag, but if I might suggest a couple of things to lesson the weight of your pack... Just a couple of knives...maybe a primary, and then a smaller one for camp, plus your saw... No first aid kit or did I miss it? I noticed cordage, but no shelter material (i.e.; tarp, poncho, etc.)... Other than that, the contents of your kit seem to pretty much follow the Pathfinder school's recommendations... Again, thanks for sharing and safe bushcrafting and hiking to you, your's and of course your adorable puppy ALWAYS!!!

Robert, thank you for the nice words and the comment regarding your 1988 Westy. I'm sure that she is well taken care of. Actually , I'm without the love of my life, my westy, currently its my mid life crisis love. Not a woman nor a sports car, but a westy. Strange unless one understand, and I think you do. Stay in love and cherish the time you have with you mistress. Cheers.

It's funny how you have to defend this; i.e., not a man purse. Men were carrying this kind of kit way before women. Anyway, good ideas, good vid.
