I just want to let you know I had to be induced with Pitocin and I still went “natural” other than having those meds to induce and it wasn’t more painful it just puts you into hard labor faster and they thought I was going to have the baby around 7-8 that night they gave me the meds at 9am and I had her at 12:19 pm just over 3 hours so don’t worry about that and you had said you kind of go into yourself when in pain and that’s exactly how I am and honestly it wasn’t horrible so let that part of your stress go away good luck I hope she comes in the next couple of days and honestly try to relax and it will all be good

You are totally right it is a weird time. im 30 almost 31 weeks pregnant and my hospital has currently switched their visiting guidelines to only one person for now but it does mention that if things get worst then they will restrict all visitors and won't allow anyone but the mom to the labor and delivery ward. This is in Pennsylvania btw. I really do hope your baby comes before the induction date. Its nerve-racking as it is to give berth but to do it with out a loved one or support system can make it a little traumatic. I can see your concern specially since yo are a FTM, again hope all goes well and you get the birth you envisioned. sending good vibes your way.

I just gave birth to my daughter on the 22nd and luckily my husband was allowed to be there.. only women who are giving birth are allowed to have 1 guest at the hospital I had her at.. I pray that you have a smooth delivery.. ♡

Sorry about the stress level. The acupuncture does help, but there is one other way to induce labor and I know you know what it is 😉. My sister was 2 weeks overdue, she too wasn't fully dilated either, the doctor wanted to induce labor. A physical therapist suggested sex stimulation. As strange as it was at that time. It worked out. Try whatever you think is best for your situation. Much love and respect to you both. Please continue to be safe and beautifully blessed. I think it's crazy they aren't allowing anyone to be with their pregnant partners during the birth in some places. This scares me greatly because they keep saying this will last until August and my due date is in August. I'm really scared that will have to do this alone. My mom wasn't with me during the birth of my first baby and if she or my fiance can't be with me I would be heart broken. I'm scared to do it alone. I hope you have Baby L in the next days so you can have Terry in your mom there.

I was induced with both Bella & Beau 2.5 weeks early due to small birth weight they didn't see much point keeping them in longer when the last few weeks is just weight gaining they say . So yeh 37 + weeks pregnant induced , Bella's labour was 5 hours and Beau's 3 hours both natural delivery and they say later you be induced the better because they say your body will be more ready for it, but both times went well for me so try not to worry! And I did it on gas and air so it's not all that painful however I can't compare to tell you because both were induced haha but by experience it was ok x x

Being induced doesn’t make it “more Painful “. Lol. It’s the same. It just starts the contractions w meds. Doesn’t make it hurt more or make it faster. You can be induced and not give birth for hours later. I’ve been induced once and the other was on time. You got this! I know you didn’t want to give birth in the hospital but the pain you might be very thankful about it. And I’m so sorry if you have to do it alone. Agree It should be Illegal 😠
