because they are all made in Unreal Engine and most of them are just a bunch of assets that are brought from a store that everyone uses

To add on to what the other person said, it’s also why these games are so damn buggy most of the time. You can get asset packs that just have the mechanics you want, and they often aren’t polished since you’re supposed to add your own stuff to them and polish them yourself to match your idea. But “devs” of these cheap ass sim games don’t because the bugs make good content bait. (Also decent chance they literally CAN’T fix them.)
