😄😄 Adelina !! I will tell you why I watch your vlog; in fact why I watch any of the vlogs that I do. First is for instructive information - whether it’s about tiny house issues, Intentional living, or cooking. Second is because I appreciate your pleasant manner and personality - I.e., sometimes I honestly don’t care what you speak about. I’m just happy to hear your thoughts. Third is because you are one of the KZbinrs that is not afraid to connect with others in some of your vlogs - be it your kids or fellow bloggers such as Zia. So you might call this “the community” appeal. That being said, my hunch is whatever direction or PATHS You want to explore in future, you have a solid base of subscribers who will follow you just because we want to support you in whatever it is you do. Perhaps it’s time to take out the big paper and colored markers and create a WISH OR LOVE LIST of what is most important to YOU. From that I’m pretty sure a focus will emerge. And if you have several topics that are dear to your heart, set out to make a series of vlogs for each topic. Bottom line is we’re with you…. and Sophie 🐈of course. 🥰 -V

I also came for the tiny house info. Zoning where I lived didn't allow for "tiny house" but I used your info to downsize and make my life simpler. I have stayed because you do a great job showing how being a single woman doesn't limit one on doing repairs, exploring different interest, travel, and facing life's challenges. There are very few realistic channels that champion a woman's ability to live a single life.

The KZbin channels that I tend to watch and subscribe to are just normal people (NOT "influencers") -- without pretense -- vlogging about life in their part of the world. Walks in nature, little adventures, useful products, home/van/yard DIY projects -- that kind of thing without trying to sell me on all kinds of different stuff that I don't think they are really using. I am okay with sponsored videos if it's something they show that they are using again and again, as opposed to a crapshoot of all these different products, which doesn't feel genuine. I would rather fewer videos from someone with a couple of interesting things rather than trying to post every week with mindless hauls of crap. I watch you for your personality and chats, the nature scenes, the little projects and the whole love of seeing someone living life simply. My other favourite channels tend to be Tideline to Alpine, Foresty Forest, Wild She Goes, and Roaming Wild Rosie.

I have followed you for about a year or so. To me, what I most enjoy about your channel is seeing how a single, middle-aged, financially self-supported woman is making it in our world. Your are very intelligent and have much to offer in showing your audience an array of how-to's in your videos. I think we should all do better at spreading the word to family and friends to help them and help you in growing your channel.

I think I know what you mean. I first started following several years ago and it was because I was interested in tiny homes, but I also knew I would never live in one. I think there is a need for tiny homes and laneway homes and less expensive homes because there are so many people that will never be able to afford a Canadian typical home. I like your content for a few reasons you’re Canadian, you’re a woman middle aged, you live on your own you’re your own boss and you live intentionally. I admire that. I don’t really enjoy the cooking ones and very often skip over those. What I do like about you and your channel is youre real, there’s no pretence, you are who you are and I think that’s fabulous. You live in a beautiful spot and there must be more interesting things around you than just the ocean and maybe you could show us more of that or human interest stories of people living around you. One other thing, even though I don’t like it it gets me watching different episodes of KZbin because there is a catch in the title something that makes you click it. I know what is trying to do and I don’t really like it, but it works. Maybe you need to tease us more. Hope that helps.

I've always come to your channel for your genuine, positive and friendly demeanor. Your cautious courage inspires me. I say cautious because I feel like me you think things through and yet move forward without getting blocked by challenges or fear. At the same time, I appreciate how you lead - at least show on the channel - a more introverted life and realistic one. You are not designing your home or area around you for hosting parties, you are making your home and area outside comfortable for your daily life. I love that! And maybe because you don't have paid sponsorships you show how to and what to that I can relate to. Some other canadian vloggers I follow, have started building saunas etc... well that's not even close to my budget. Like you I make a comfortable living, I'm not rich, I do need to be responsible...and that is why I relate to you. I'm not being very helpful with identifying a niche, but I hope it gives you a glimpse into why I come here week after week...and sometimes even go back to older videos to get inspired. You make me smile, make me feel like other women like me can relate, less alone when some days it's just harder and for that I am very grateful. I wish I could send you more more more way more subscribers... you deserve them! And they would be better off too. Sending you east coast sunshine in the meantime :) 🌅🌻☀

I came upon your KZbin account when I was in the middle of getting divorced after over 27 years of marriage. I was broken, afraid, the sole carer of a son with autism (I have two sons whom I adore). While I do love your adorable tiny house. I stayed for you. At first the beautiful tiny house was like a incredible good looking woman. It got me in the door but the essence of you - your honesty, integrity, strength, weaknesses (we are all human and fall apart sometimes). Bit by bit, I like you built myself a good life - yes, it was light years from the life I had originally planned but it is a good life. I took inspiration from you. It's your integrity that keeps me here. And when you're life is challenging, I am rooting for you and know tiny step by tiny step you/we can build good lives for ourselves and our families. I stay because of you. Truth be told, the tiny house is only background music - you're the star. Keep posting. Your account is inspirational, spiritual, funny, honest - the world is a nicer place because you are in it. Introvert you maybe, (are) but you have become friends to many - because you're honest - you're real, you've backbone, likeable. Your account is so much more than tiny house living. That was how the Universe got you to start your account and bit by bit it is letting you grow as a person and help others. High value people don't have to have money.. Good luck - I will need to think about it for a while for a new name suggestion. Mary Behan (was Fitzpatrick) and don't know how to change it. Ir3land

I found you via the tiny house lifestyle, but I stayed because I like your personality, the diy projects, the I Can Do It attitude, the fact that you're close to my age, so I can relate and even get inspiration for my own projects. The cooking is a bonus. But to get the sponsors you want, maybe include their products into your diy projects, or your daily life, mention the products so they notice you. Use the exact keywords they use in the product description or the ads they already have. I see nothing wrong in going after the sponsors you admire and make money in the process. Good luck finding your niche!

Hi Adelina! Have you decided what it is that you want from your vlogging? I think that answer would likely yield which identity is the best fit for you.(ie. Financial gain means more content specific to attract sponsors, etc.). Personally, I value & appreciate that you represent an older demographic. I say this with no malice, because I'm part of that demographic, 😉 Since about 2013, Van life/Tiny house life has kinda exploded. KZbin has been a wealth of information on this topic, but the culture has mainly followed, or focussed on, a younger crowd. Whether it's Wanderlust, a pandemic, or simply being priced out of the housing market, a big cultural shift toward a more life/work balance has been seeded and sewn by the younglings haha! That said, I believe that channels like yours, have helped lessen the stigma of going Tiny for Gen Xers or Baby Boomers, also affected by Life stuff. (Frankly, I would like to see more of these "boomer" channels,😊). Maybe that's your identity? idk. There are many of us, though, through whatever life curve we've swerved,(health issue, job change, divorce, loss of a partner, kids grown & flown, etc.*), that are unable to get out of the rental market and back into homeownership in the traditional sense. It's either unrealistic, or impractical, to saddle up to a heavy mortgage at this stage. You've graciously, and generously, opened a window into what that life can look like; not less than, just different. Honestly, it looks pretty darn good❤

I watch some tiny house living, many decor videos (but those change constantly. They get boring and repetitive), one book reading/review gal (The Book Castle) (lives in Oslo. I love her recommendations). I love gals who live in Great Britain or France or Italy and show us the beauty and culture and lifestyles there, but cannot find one that I can consistently enjoy and return to. Your channel is an every Sunday tune in for me. Even if you’re talking camper fridges!😂 (which isn’t a favorite topic). I hope some of this commentary was on point for you. You feel like a friend in Canada!

An alternative life - tiny house, van, vegan, the products you use and why, budgeting...even composting vs. flush toilets! All things I am interested in and so most of what you talk about is relevant. Plus, your age and the coffee along with the approach is spot on. It's like having a coffee with a friend. Many women who have an empty nest will also relate to many of your topics.

This is my first time to see you and I was happy to learn how you organize in your van for travel living. I just learned how you can monetize you Tube videos and how the search engines work. I am dreaming of traveling in a cost effective way. I am inspired by you as a lone woman to have gone and set up such an efficient living space in your van. Love the original furnace you have had put in from gas tank. and the swivel seat. I would call this "Single woman small space living organization, tips and tricks". Possibly do separate channel for your "healthy cooking and life skills info". I found your van video as looking at other people doing van builds or Non build outfitting of vans. I am only in dream stage of this lifestyle. I am alone with small dog and cat and am concerned how to do it safely and efficiently. What is needed and what is luxury. What is safe. I appreciate you sharing. I am surprised how many senior woman are selling house and making nice home and gaining freedom in vans! You are the youngest looking so far. I am 77 yrs old and thinking "There has to be a better way". I already live in a small house by a lake and am very grateful. I mostly just want to get out of here in the winter and explore out west or go south to warmer climates. You inspire me and I see I already have most things I would need already. IKEA you mention a lot. Love your sink setup,

You may have covered all the tiny house stuff. At least enough of it that it’s tough to get weekly episodes. Here’s what I see. An extremely attractive, personable woman who is living an independent smart life. You’re just very watchable and adorable and folks will follow you anywhere. My favorite videos you make are the travel/seeing stuff around the island. That garden park thing a few weeks ago, any day trips to small, quaint towns, etc. You’re very good at those. The cafes, diners, museums, general scenery, etc. have been my favorites of late. And, yes…any water/river videos because I see a cute duck splashing around and looking happy, which I like. I guess you pivot to s😅ne sort of Vancouver Island lifestyle/travelogue type of thing where you show the rest of us this beautiful place you call home. It’s exciting for us to see. It’s so different from where I call home, I can’t help but find it interesting. I d😅by know if any of this helps or tells you anything. But I watch/enjoy any videos you do, because they’re you. I think most here are in the “digging Adelina” club. We just enjoy seeing/hearing you, the deeerses, whales, small town walking tours. And, of course, sweet Sophie, little snowman eyes. ❤️

I’ve been regularly watching since you were in Calgary (I am also from Calgary). I had recently downsized to a condo in another smaller city and enjoyed watching about simplified intentional living. I enjoy the lifestyle content of an intentional life including cooking videos. Though we live very different lives, I appreciate all you share and have been inspired by you. I enjoy lifestyle content from around the world and sometimes just enjoy seeing how others live. It’s always surprising how much we can learn from each other and despite our differences, there is a lot of similarities also.

I came to your channel when I was looking at living a more simple life and living in a tiny house seemed ideal. Over the years I became inspired by your creativity, your honest opinions on things, your willingness to tackle projects that most women wouldn’t even attempt and your vulnerability. I consider you as a dear friend who I enjoy having coffee with each week. I am not vegan but some of your recipes look delicious. Focusing on your lifestyle and how you maintain it is key and since the tiny house communities are growing rapidly will be of interest to those who want to live like you. Your travel videos are valuable to those who love to see new places. I guess what I am saying is that I love your channel the way it is. Maybe include ideas you may have for your future as you near retirement and any other dreams you may be considering. Love the videos on planning out your van also was very informative. You are real and relatable and that is what is important

I first subscribed to see more of how a strong, intelligent and honest single woman of heart lives in her tiny home. I stayed with you because the channel touches on matters that are important to me that I can learn from. Living simply, self sufficiency, plant based recipes, finances, van life, family. I like to hear of the ups and downs of your life style and how you build resilience. Self care also. I would love to see you start an edible garden to bring a little more self sufficiency into your living (but of course thats just because I'm a devoted gardener, and I know it may be difficult for you to garden where you are). So, from where I stand, I view your channel as a 'how to live a life of simplicity that is still full of good food, good company, good living. I love to see videos of your travelling time also. It might be fun to visit and do a video of others who live similar lifestyles with some new features. Thank you!!

One day your channel popped up and I started watching it and I stayed, I think is because of your personality, projection, knowledge and information you share with us. I just like the content, recipes, camping, etc. Also, I have kitties, and I love when Sophie makes a cameo. Anyway, I hope my comments help. I wish you much success and I will see you on your next video, take care and thank you. 🌻

I like your cooking videos as most I can adapt to my diet. I do pass on them when they are "too" ( just saying). I'm not always enamored of your coffee chats, but like it when you take them on the "road." I think it would be okay to skip a Sunday or two if you've nothing to report. I dropped someone who I liked very much but then did a "click bait" video that I felt betrayed by. She didn't need to. Be authentic. Be kind. Be yourself and I'll keep watching 😊

Ok. Here's the thing, Adelina. You're awesome as is your channel. I like your plant-based episodes very much & hope you'll keep them coming. I like recipes that "are barely a recipe," recipes that freeze well, instant pot recipes, & any others you enjoy sharing with us. I also love your philosophical chats that are empowering and wise. They inspire me. I also enjoy anything related to fixing things or creating things that you do. And of course I love seeing Shiloh, Keaton & his Sweetie. As well as Sophie naturally.🐈 I feel like you're a friend & tho I haven't commented much lately that's been abt my own challenges not anything you're doing wrong with your channel. All good things take time unless you can put them in an instant pot. Haha. Chin up, friend. We love you and appreciate the effort you put into this channel. As others have said, I would label your channel "Intentional Living"-Adalina-style. Thats the big umbrella with lots of sub-subjects that reflect your preferences and interests. For me, the draw is coming alongside someone who has many of the same interests and view points and I get the freedom and enjoyment of watching your video's and pulling from them encouragement, insight, tips and motivation that help ME live my life in the intentional way that suits MY context. I'm not vegan (tho I enjoy the recipe videos-they give me inspiration for meals), I live in a smallish (1000 sq ft) home we rebuilt last year after our farmhouse burned and get so much insight into how someone else lives with small spaces, I am largely tethered to my space with family commitments tho I yearn to get out and explore. Just being reminded to shake loose of the rut we can get ourselves into and choose a different path (being more intentional) is one of the things that made me subscribe and keeps me coming back

Hello. New subscriber here. My thoughts are you have a "lifestyle" type channel. You share your journey with getting your Tiny, love for cooking, love for your family/community/you tube community. I think people push you into thinking you need a niche where you only focus on one thing but really that is not what life is. Life is about EVERYTHING. That is what I have seen so far. You share your life and share what you have learned. Intentional living and you do it with kindness and compassion for others. This should be a goal for us ALL! I'm grateful that you decided to share your life with us. Although I am late to the party (LOL) I have slowly been working my way backwards through all your videos. ❤

For me it’s how you reflect on life and it’s also your genuine personality that makes me look forward to seeing your newest releases every Sunday. You keep things simple and not rushed. You are prepared and keep the content real and consistently interesting. There is no “fake news” nor hype. Your videos paint a picture of what many people wish their lives look like. Intentional living on your own terms is how I receive video messages. I hope you find you the path that is right for you and thank you for taking the time to share your life and content with the world. All the very best to you. .

I came to your channel for many of the same reasons listed already. I really enjoy your videos, like visiting with an good friend. I love your content, cooking videos, tiny house videos, travel videos…all of them. It’s my dream that my next house be a tiny one in a nice like-minded community. I’d even go in on a purchase of land if it’s within reason or even possible. I know you’ve done a video on finding locations but I wonder if there are any new places that have opened up in the BC area, any new updates in rules and regulations towards tiny homes, hopefully positive, etc. Maybe info on any tiny home lobbyists one could support to fight the stupid laws preventing tiny homes on private land. Anyway, that’s a lot I know. 🤪

I love tiny house living, and that's why I started watching, you have the best use of space in a tiny house. I have stayed because I love the variety of content! Family, cooking, home improvement, tiny house living, and beautiful scenery. I think you are a great role model for people to chase their dreams, be fearless, and that you can constantly learn and grow. Your niche, I believe, is for women. You show in a very no nonsense way that pretty much anything is possible! You show that's it possible to be a home owner, van builder, cook, work from home, have a family, chase your dreams all seem attainable. Your advice is really helpful. I am a single woman in late 60's, I find your channel very inspiring full of great ideas for * van life holidays (I also watch other van life channels, yours is more me, if that makes sense). Love your *cooking videos it shows and explains healthy living ideas for a single person, I try most of your recipes which are so yummy, your freezing tips, shopping trips, using up fridge or pantry goodies just so inspiring and motivating. You show by example how to motivate, respect and to be strong with your can do outlook on life. I love watching your channel, you have made me a stronger person living 100% off grid in a rural setting.
