In Ally Law's videos, there are a few times he could have escaped or hidden better if he had lift knowledge or even known safety braking was a thing! I'm not saying you should copy his channel, but those challenges look soooo fun!

It is where a lift loses position. Some lifts loose position after a safety break. A lot of lifts loose position after inspection. Intelligent positioning systems will always know the position of the lift, but simple levelling and semi intelligent levelling may lose position. Semi intellegent is where the lift uses a tacho to know its distance between shaft bars/magnets. Semi intellegent may continue to track the tacho on a safety break or after inspection, but some logics don't. There are 2 types of position lost. JU mode means it knows which floors it is between but has lost its tacho reading of how far it is to the next floor, so it has to go slow back to a floor. Lost LAR mode means the lift has no idea where it is and has to go to the bottom floor to refind its position. All logics handle this differently. No logics are the same. If you have a good understanding of how a logic works you can often trick a lift to go to a secret floor. Kone LCE semi intellegent - Always goes to JU mode after safety break and inspection (the only time it goes to lost LAR is if you freefall it). Otis gen2 semi intellegent - Keeps track of tacho on safety break. Always goes to lost LAR after inspection. Lester simple levelling - Continues if safety break is less than 10 seconds. Goes to lost LAR for everything else. ThyssenKrupp (no including ISIS) - Even when it uses barcode tape (so it knows exact position), it still goes to JU mode after safety break. Never goes to lost LAR. ThyssenKrupp ISIS - Always goes to lost LAR. Schindler 3300 / Eurolift - Continues after safety break of less than 10 seconds. Goes to lost LAR after inspection. Thames valley - Some of these logics think themselves too clever and try to continue without JU or lost LAR after inspection. If the system is only semi intellegent it sometimes gets it wrong. Express - Keeps track of position on inspection but is likely to not keep track. It continues without lost LAR after inspection. It then often gets its floors out of sync, and a trip to top and bottom gets it back into sync again.

There are enough jailbreaks and work arounds for maintaining Kone LCE. It is such a common lift that all generic companies know how to maintain it. Replacing it with Lester control was completely unnecessary.

ThyssenKrupp are pretty much a joke nowadays. They have done so many failed designs of lift. Traveling bridge lift thingy - Spends more time out of service than in service ISIS - Nobody could understand the keypad. You have to wait 2 seconds after entering each floor. So people trying to go to floors 1 and 2 would end up selecting 12. And what is worse is that these lifts rarely went beyond floor 5 ISIS mk 2 - Almost impossible to maintain. Constantly goes into fault. No engineers interface at all. Impossible to fault find. Various generic models - Worse than actual generic companies lifts Twin - The only concept lift that ThyssenKrupp has ever made that is actually good Multi - Complete utter load of crap that grabs headlines from newspapers that don't have a clue what makes a good lift. Most likely will be impossible to maintain. Far too many moving parts. ThyssenKrupp has not had a good track record of these concept lifts and I will be shock if this turns into a well rounded product. Spannish generic - In the modern day thyssenkrupp has released a lift so mad that it is beyond words. it is litrally just a nasty late 90s generic rebranded with thyssenkrupp. yet they think this is their new exciting lift. They have completly lost the plot.
