Lifecurse is the strongest solo ganking weapon at the moment, BUT, the one-handed cursed is a very good choice for most openworld scenarios.

Most of the kills he gets are on people with worse sets then him and players with gathering armor on. Gathering set does not provide really any benefits to 1vs1 scenarios and got really low defense and offense boosts unlike normal armour. Goldstein switches between gathering Gear and pvp Gear because of that.
