I had a street cat. But he lost and then never come, and my condition was very bad I was stuck in his memories and always hoping that one day he will come magically, but now another cat came to my home nearly 6 month ago. It is his mother. She delivered babies too but not in my house. She used too carry food for her babies from my home. Persian cats do not like milk. They are not like street cats. They are so particular choose an eater like a fussy eater kid. As of now 1.5years no need to gave medicine except 3 injection3. Shraddinh is the biggest issue.

True. Totally carnivorous diet. Brushing will be hectic for one if u r having a busy job . If u are a frequent traveller and single living person in the house. It will be troublesome for ur lil one. Fungal and skin problems are more frequent in persian cats in our indian tropical environment if proper care is not provided. They are very territorial. Don't expect them to be loving , snuggling and hugging like a dog. They have their own nature and behaviour. Respect that. P. S.Every cat has a different behaviour and nature irrespective of their breed /gender. What can change or modify one behaviour is the style of upbringing and care. Adoption> Buying. ❤️🥂

Outdoors arent safe for cats especially for expensive Persian cats.They may get hit by vehicles,get stolen or get beaten and abused. You can leash train them like dogs since young age and take them outside but don't leave your cats to roam about outside.

Deepa Lall agreed in case of exotic breeds. But honestly a cat will be at its best (in terms of nature, health) if it gets the necessary freedom. When my cat was young I used to be afraid of leaving her outside. She has had dogs chase her (and sometimes she has chased them away too!) She fights with mongoose, civets and even catches snakes. And yes the way she crosses the road does scare me sometimes. But she's been with us for about 7.5 years (her age appx 9years) and its been absolutely great to have her as a part of my family. She absolutely loves being outside the house and she has more human friends than anyone in our family. I used to be scared of what will happen to her outside but then I thought... Its better to let her live a fulfilling life rather than being scared and stay at home.

It depends how much time you devote to them.Playing with cat toys,teaching them tricks,leash training them for walks,installing bird feeder in the balcony so that they can enjoy bird watching,scavenger games etc,building them catio. You have no idea how many cats get poisoned and beaten to death in India.I have seen one such horrible incident with my own eyes. It shook me to the core and gave me nightmares for years.There are also plenty of cases where the indoor-outdoor cats get hit by vehicles.I am an overprotective mother of my kitties.I raised them since they were 4 months old.I can not risk my cat's life by letting them roam.It's also a threat to nature because cats hunt birds and squirrels.They also bring back ticks and bugs in their fur everytime they go outside.I don't want to impose my thoughts on you. I was just sharing my POV. Even Jackson Galaxy says that indoor cats have longer life.They are my babies,I like to keep them safe.

I had adopted 2 female cats which I found on the street. And now both of them have gave birth to 3 kittens each. Total I have 8 cats. I love them. At first I didn't like cats and I am a dog person. But after this change I am very happy. I even have a female dog her name is Bliss. And if I pet one of them than all of the other cats and and my dog gets jealous of each other. When the kittens were born I spent more time with them. And if I held one of them then their mother pushed them and sat on my lap.

Just a very simple tip that cats often don't like to take bath, and Persian cat they spoil their coat very easily in Indian climate, u can use baby powder as dry shampoo while brushing them. They will have very healthy and fluffy coat, and do check for any scabs and dandruff on them coz they are prone to it, main problem area are their back, head and tail.. ☺️☺️☺️☺️

If the dog is being aggressive to you, better don't approach. Toss a piece of biscuit/treat when the dog is calm. Keeping doing it for few more times, it won't be agressive anymore. If they show aggression to one another, it is possible that they're fighting for food/affection. Place food at different spots at some distance instead of dumping it all at one place. It's also possible that the dogs are of adjacent territory. Dogs are territorial, they don't like it if dogs from other territory come to theirs. Especially in presence of food.
