I remember several years ago, I was just getting out of a serious relationship. I was babysitting a friends kids and while making lunch I had a moment that reminded me of something we did together. I got so sad and started to cry. My friend had a husky dog named Kasey. She had the prettiest bright blue eyes. The very moment I started to cry, Kasey came into the kitchen, got up on her hind legs, put one paw on each of my shoulders and literally hugged me! I don’t know why but I put my arms around her and it made me cry harder. Kasey stayed that way until I stopped crying. She died several years ago. I cry every time I think about her now.

Loved the clips showing the dogs checking on the children, had a cat that used to do the same thing with my eldest, no matter what we did to stop him from getting into her room it failed so we stopped and glad we did because one night she stopped breathing and our cat started screaming which woke us up, I’m out of bed running into her room thinking what TF took her to the hospital straight away and after telling the doctor what woke us she said you can thank the cat for saving your daughters life because the cat screaming startled your daughter waking her up and started her breathing and again, never stopping our pets from checking on her or her sister after that.

@@GingerCatOfficial It's not bravery, it's instinct to protect. The dog doesn't give a toss for it's size nor is it frightened, it's only us that worry about these things. Neither does the elephant think "ooh I'm bigger than him", the elephants react to another animal protecting it's territory.

Dogs and their little charges,..keeping them safe, the dog, with the first baby,..I mean, and was so on point, any little movement,..and the dog, that crossed the bridge after his human jumped in,..like,.."ohh no!, did you fall in,..I'm coming,.hold on, I'll save you!!",..barking the whole time he's running,..huh, I guess to reassure said human he was on the way, help was on the way,...and they look so serious, when a couple had the dad, wanting to touch the pregnant mom's belly,..the pittie, brown one,..such a serious look on his face, I swear,..it was incredible, eyebrows back and up,..like, don't do it, don't do it, what are you doing?,..and the dog doing a night shift nanny duty,..even checking one of the kid's breathing,, incredible,..Godspeed, long healthy, happy life to all the darlins in the video, animal and man alike, and families,..

Not to play devil's advocate but I'm physically disabled got a 5 month old golden retriever last November just as a campion she's 14 months now have not at all guard dog trained her .once over her timid side she started barking at any car engine or knock on door she's protective of me and our trailer

@@drakcon650 I find that exceptional. That is exactly what you need to protect yourself. I am talking about people who hold their pets while others purposely stick their fingers in a dog’s face to get them to growl and attack. Ask any dog behavior coach how good an idea that is. I believe the answer will be no, it is not a good idea at all.

Actually having protective dogs can be very dangerous. You need to be careful with them and who you bring around them. My uncles dog use to attack people who would go near him. She was over-protective and territorial.

My dear Macy would take someone down in a heartbeat IF I GAVE THE COMMAND even if I was getting attacked by multiple people she wouldn't act until I gave her the command to intervene. A well trained dog is the best dog, a non trained dog is a liability, and could get the owner in a lot of trouble legally
