Hello, the piece from Portugal is an olive plate. You put the olives in the bigger hole and as you eat them you put the olive pit in the smallest hole… 😊

Hi Jocelyn, just wanted to let you know that the “wisemen” are two of the three gods known as Fu Lu Shou (Prosperity, Fortune and Longevity). The bald figure on the left was Shou (Longevity) and I believe the figure on the right was Fu (Prosperity). Too bad Fortune was missing! And the fruit is definitely a peach. Represents longevity. Usually peach shaped buns are served at birthday parties for older people.

Walked into my Ill Will on Friday, looked around, and walked out. Didn't feel like standing in line for $1 plus tax's worth of giftwrap tape. OTOH scored BIG at a church sale today, and the tag sale and other nasty lady were both absent. BTW - crock pot! You can cook soups, stews, mac and cheese etc and all you need is a wall plug. For some things, just toss it all in, set it on low and walk away.
