This post is going to age me a little bit... I'm not much of a gamer, but needed a decent "click" keyboard. I just started a new job - the standard issue mouse and keyboard were difficult - the keys on the keyboard were "chicklet" keys (very flat and very close to the base of the keyboard - and the mouse was not very responsive, especially when using the scroll wheel. The latter is a pain when you have to look through a couple of hundred lines of code and you wind up resorting to using the arrow keys. I also wanted to get something with more of a click, and larger keys (ok. this is where I age myself!) much like the keyboards that were issued by IBM when they first came out with the old IBM PC/XT and PC/AT. I came upon this setup on Amazon and checked it out, and ultimately purchased it. I may not bring the mousepad in (or if I do, not plug it in) , and keep the lights on the keyboard a little bit conservative... but ON so I can see the keys better (we leave the lights off (and small desklamp on) in our 2-person office space (yeah, that would be a good idea...). I'm testing it at home and really enjoying it. Thanks for the quick tutorial on the keyboard... after all, this "old-timer" finds it difficult to read the tiny print in the manua. Good job on the video! (ps.. good idea how they set the keyboard presets to light up the various gaming keys... some things (esp. the keys) never change like the the use of the WASD keys in place of the (barely used) mouse in pre-windows days!

For some reason I can't get the Fn button with F9 to bring up the color modes. Some help here or is this maybe a problem.

As in the type of wire? If so, it is a USB A to Micro USB
