Hear me out - Taoqi uses the healing set and the turtle/heron, outro skill buffs the skill dmg of subdps danjin Danjin has a little wiggle room thanks to taoqi's defenses. Danjin uses the (flautist? Tambourinist? One of them gives a buff over time to havoc damage) outro skill and swaps to havoc rover Havoc rover main dps now has taoqi's healing buff, echo buff, danjin's outro buff and echo buff Did i cook or should i just use verina/jianxin instead of taoqi?

Danjin works just fine with Verina, she does less damage due to being at high health, but if you are using her as sub DPS, it's not a major issue

It not necessary to swap your character, until your outro skill is ready.

It's not necessarily, but it's obviously effective if you can pull it off. But you still need to swap often before you get the outro skills ready, to make sure no DPS is lost.

Swap canceling makes it easier to achieve maximum score during endgame activities, especially since our current LV is often capped at 70 or 80, as it ensures maximum DPS. But it isn't obligatory, and you can surely achieve most of the targets playing at peak performance without swapping. Furthermore, I think that the devs aren't keen to keep max performance gated behind swap canceling, entailing that future chars and improvements focus more on specific buffs for hyper-carrying.

So I managed to get 81.3% crit rate & 211% crit dmg with 4-4-1³ but somehow the damage is lower rather than 4-3²-1² for 62% crit rate & 193% crit dmg (both are 5pc sun sink eclipse) can anybody explain 🥲 Is it bcs for 43311 have more havoc dmg bonus so damage are quite hi? Or it's just balancing the havoc element and crit output? It's getting confusing for me 🥲

putting it very very simply : take at base, atk * dmg bonus* cdmg = 1*1*1=1 with 4 3 3 1 1, atk * dmg bonus* cdmg = 2*2*2= 8 with 4 4 1 1 1, atk * dmg bonus* cdmg = 2*1*2= 4 even if u have a lil more atk ur say 3*1*2 = 6 ur still not getting more dmg than 4 3 3 1 1. The exact calculations isnt like this but this is about they affect each other, they're multiplicative. without taking any other factors, if u havoc bonus is 0 and 'x' cdmg, or say u have x havoc bonus and 0 cdmg, u'll do the same dmg on either case

Of course the damage with 4-4-1-1-1 will be much lower than with 4-3-3-1-1, elemental damage is more important than crit rate/crit damage (unless you already have 100%+ havoc damage+), and you get 0% with this setup.

Try this (rate*dmg+1)*(1+havoc_element) Example: (81.3%*211%+1)*(1+...) = ? Then compare to see which has the highest number. If attack for 2 builds are diff then use the formula above but multiply by attack.

Once you're at 30 or 40 you may as well just use it on the bosses and special fights that give upgrade materials.

@reytacdol6771 It's really not going to matter that much past 30 or 40. Spending crystal solvent now on resonator upgrades and ascension materials is fine. Based on how the game scales, it's gonna take you about the same amount of time to level up your union level whether you spend now or later. If you're close to 40, I'd wait until then, because you'll get a little bit more ascension/level up material, but union rewards don't really change.
