Godamn I'm so happy I found Havok and Warbringer. I had almost given up hope for some good old fashion thrash bands still coming out. New rule...your band name can't have more than 2 words in it, no diminished, light palm mute breakdowns in every fucking song, and no "look what I can do" nintendo sounding harmonies and bs. Make 4 badass fucking riffs, write badass vocals, and slap that bitch together in a way that anyone can follow without having taken college level trig, and boom... Thrash. Havok is like a fresh Megadeth and Warbringer must be the kids Slayer never knew they had with groupies that formed a band. Love it.

Not so much a comparison as a slight vibe, ya know? But the best way to get someone to check out a new band is to reference it with another one they probably love and that was my goal. I do hear some Exodus in there though, especially the sound of the bass on Point of No Return \m/

The closest they come to where I am in Michigan in Chicago and that's still too far of a drive for me. They need to hit the Orbit Room or the Intersection in Grand Rapids MI and soon. we're drowning in bullshit out here.

I'm super glad to see these gents getting more exposure. I saw them a couple of summers ago in Boise, Idaho at The Shredder. Great,approachable guys that know how to deliver proper thrash. One of the best shows I've seen in a few years. Can't wait to see 'em again. Cheers people!!
