We didn't even try the bus since we had to get there early (around 6:00am) to get inline for first come first serve availability, so we took Lyft instead for that day. We did take the bus for everywhere else on the island, so I'm sure the bus will also get you there to the bay.

Make sure you come to the bay early. As you come later during the day, it will more crowded. And the wait time to get in the park is even longer.
