We did the 5hr trip back in April. Caught 4 aku tunas. That was just OK.

@@Hawaiidiscount yeah, we caught 4 but the captain only filleted 3 of them. My plan was to get as much fish for the week we were staying there- but the captain assigned that day was hoping for a big one. Good thing some locals sell fish on the side of the road by Hilo. I'm an islander originally from the Philippines so - gill and gut and i'm good to go. See you guys soon!
