the lobster squeak is made by rubbing a nub at the base of the antenna against a nub on the lobster body. you can rub the nubs together manually when you catch your first one and sometimes the other ones will come out and see what’s happening. it’s like a turkey call.

Love your vlog, I only spear at night. Can't dive in deep 80 ft during the day, 20ft my limit. Night diving, even though I do spear sleeping fish, only enough to feed the family. Leave the rest to repopulate. No commercial fish here.

Nice speargun! I personally like double wrap for most scenarios. Roller, with reel, I’m not necessarily certain. Hope the spearing has been going good for you!

What kind of dive light are u using
@AwesomeBlue3 жыл бұрын
Hey - my main light is a $35 Feit Electric dive torch from Costco (they seem to carry them around lobster season each year). Has worked well for me on many dives. Lasts about 4 hours on highest brightness.

711 crabs are definitely regulated man.. get it together
@AwesomeBlue2 жыл бұрын
HAR1395 contains regulated crab species. If you’re in Hawaii, the 711 crab is an unregulated species. Maybe you’re confusing the 711 crab with the Kūhonu crab which has 3 spots on its back.

Is there baking soda or sodium bicarbonate in the ingredients? I JUST read an article that says to add it to your ground beef to help it get the maillard effect. Let me see if I can paste the article here from FB skillet.lifehacker.com/you-should-add-baking-soda-to-your-ground-meat-1846103865
@AwesomeBlue4 жыл бұрын
Really Cool! I didn’t know about this trick!! The spice ingredients don’t seem to show either of those, but perhaps they aren’t listing all the ingredients. Thanks for the article 👍
