So funny! I was telling guy husband it drives me nuts to see people waiting in line to eat at Panda Express, Popeye's, Cheesecake Factory, Cane's, etc... Like eat the good, local, stuff! LOL! Coming from California, I never thought...folks don't have those things where they are visiting from. I now understand. Enjoy! LOL!

FYI.... Princess Ka'iulani(Kah-ee-yu-lah-nee)was the last in line to the Hawaiian Kingdom. 2009 movie of the same name, gives Very brief perspective of her life. Also Princess Ka'iulani hotel was built on the site of her home, Ainahau(Eye-nah-how)translated as Land of the Hau tree

@@jessica.hombre I love Hawai'i too (of course). Sadly however we do have our problems like other big cities (there are over 1 million people on O'ahu) like homelessness, rising crime, inflation, lack of affordable housing, etc., so it is nice when visitors can enjoy their vacations here despite our problems. I believe things are getting slowly getting better, but I guess the work is never done... Sometimes tourists forget that people live and work here - we're not a perfect 'Disney' property. But at the core of the islands is the culture of the 'aloha spirit', and visitors like yourself who are respectful and appreciative of what the island has to offer are welcome anytime...

Nuuanu Pali Lookout=Noo-oo-ahnoo Pah-lee, Pali is Hawaiian=Cliff, was the site of one of the last battles to unite Oahu under one king/ruler... Kamehameha the Great c.1795

The aloha swap meet was it cash only or do they accept Apple Pay and credit card? Thank you for the vlog

We only used cash when we went but I did see an ATM around. And maybe the food vendors would allow card? I’m not too entirely sure sorry!

Some vendors accept Apple Pay/Venmo/CC-ype payments but $$$$ is Always King!-lol
