I couldn’t feel much emotion and I had thoughts of revenge and the other things. But God saved me, he gave me the people in my life and he showed himself to me. I was gonna say they seemed a bit off rhythm and didn’t completely seem to match the tone. Some seemed happy to do it and others not as much. Some seemed to put WAAAYYY more hip into moves than others. My sister was a ballet dancer so I’m pretty familiar with choreography and matching moves to music and this was not it. The moments of definitive drums were often paired with fluid movements. While not a hula expert by any means it was easy to see it was an attempt but not a good one.

This is not the proper hula dance, in hula the knees should be bent, each step should have meaning and matches the words. Of course we do not expect everyone to know this, and at least they don't make it a sexy dance. I'm Filipino and I learned this while reading and watching videos about our Austronesianian heritage.

This is an insult to my Hawaiian culture and heritage. I’ve trained to dance hula since I was 5, 32 years of experience and majority of those steps used is not traditional and in Hawaiian culture we tend to honor our traditional ways.
