The most recent dna proof, which is considered “incontrovertible” (or irrefutable) found that Micronesians originated in Indonesia. It also found that Micronesians were the only peoples in Oceania with zero New Britain Papuan ancestry. ALL Pacific Islanders have New Britain Papuan ancestry EXCEPT Micronesians, that proves they aren’t Oceanian/Pacific Islanders, Micronesians don’t share any ancestry with either Melanesians or Polynesians (oceanians/pacific Islanders). They aren’t Pacific Islanders, they’re Asians who picked up the culture of Melanesians and Polynesians when Pacific Islanders traveled the pacific for trading, but it’s not their culture, Indonesian culture is their culture.

Pacific Islanders in general all came from South East Asia and all share connections in our genealogies. I dont know where you got your research from but thats crazy to say that micronesians dont have papuan ancestry cos i tell you not, alot of micronesians do have melanesian ancestry and yes south east asian as well, and same goes to all pacific islanders including polynesians. That is why Hokulea had to make its trip to go around island hopping most if not all of the pacific islands because ultimately we all have connections in our geneology. Our languages are all connected and our cultures are very connected as well even our myths legends. Stop believing the lies that foreigner have brainwashed you to believe and be one with the rest of your people. If you claim to be pacific island then stop trying to divide native pacific islands. Our culture, our myths, our legends tells us that we're all connected. And yes youre wrong for thinking micronesians dont have shared blood with polynesians and melansians coz that is straight bs. Your argument makes no sense at all to anyone who has done any amount of adequate research. Micronesians are Asian, because they come from Indonesia thousands of years ago. At the time of the Melanesian and Polynesian migrations into the Pacific the people who inhabited South East Asia were not the people we identify as “Asian” today, they were negrito which are a subgroup of Melanesian. Later Asians from the north came and essentially wiped out most of the negrito people (in some places they wiped out all of the negrito people out). Places like Taiwan for example, where all of the negrito were wiped out. The people of Taiwan who call themselves “indigenous” have had their bloodlines so heavily diluted with the blood of their conquerors that they are ethnically Asian even though they consider themselves indigenous and only have minute, barely trace amounts of the negrito ancestry. THOSE South East Asians are who Melanesians and Polynesians originated from thousands and thousand of years ago, the negrito. Micronesians however are descendants of Indonesians, Asians who originated in the North East of Asia, essentially the people we think of when we think of “Asians”. Asians traveled down from the north wiping out the negrito and replacing them with Asians who took over. You can see the proof of that today in places like the Philippines where there’s still pockets of the aboriginal negrito (the Aeta) living in the mountains away from the Asians who came from Indonesia and tried wiping them out, forcing them to hide in the mountains where their people managed to survive in isolation all these thousands of years. Those same Indonesian Asians that traveled out to the Philippine islands to conquer it, traveled to Micronesia where the islands were uninhabited and some remained, populating the islands and becoming who we know today as Micronesians. I don’t care if you don’t want to believe it, I don’t care if you want to make yourself look silly by denying irrefutable DNA proof lol, your denial doesn’t stop the truth from existing. Micronesians do not share any ancestry with the Pacific Islanders of Oceania, end of story. Go cry about it to someone who cares, because that’s not me.

All of these island Nations throughout the pacific ( Palau specifically) who participated in FESTPAC (Fesitival of the Pacific Arts)hence the event name. lol NOT POLYNESIAN FESTIVAL were invited to Hawaii primarily to showcase their cultures and traditions not to claim their Polynesians. I’m sure Palauans know their cultural stance in the pacific region.

"New Britain" Papua, ultimately is not our homeland so having an origin from there does not really matter. All Pacific islanders have a mix of Melansian and south east asian mixture of ancestry in them. Micronesian have a very divers and complex ancestry and how the islands were inhabited. Micronesians have Melanesian and Polynesian blood in them, and yes south east asian too and that is the same to all polynesians as well. Polynesians, same with Micronesians, have south east asian ancestry mixed with melanesian. Your claim is stupid and ignorant. And yes, not only we're connected by cultures and traditions, we're also connected by genes. If you claim to be a pacific islander then act like one, you better start getting connected with the rest of the pacific island people and get with the culture and stop trying to be different because that is definitely not how Pacific Islanders are. If you travel down to the south by chance you'll quickly learn that pacific islanders are very proud to be pacific islanders and we dont want divisions between the fellow islanders. The term micronesians, polynesians, and melansian are not our terms and were not and still are not in our languages because our ancestry didnt have any boundaries, they roamed throughout the entire pacific ocean doing intermarriages and tradings and other cultural related subjects. Ancestry has told us now that micronesians came from Taiwan ancestry, Vietnamese came from China ancestry and Samoans came from the Philippines ancestry. These people are not the original Polynesian cultures. Tahitians and Hawaiians are indigenous people of the Polynesian culture. They better do their ancestry before they come to Hawaii and think they're from Polynesia which they're not. Get out of our Polynesian culture area.

Damn, go learn some Pacific History (since you claim to be one) before you make a dumbass comment like this. Yes, the ancestors of all pacific islanders came from south east asia at some point but definitely Tahitians and Hawaiians are not the original polynesians. They didnt just pop out of nowhere, definitely didn't come from south america, and definitely wasnt created out of the earth on those islands. Samoa, Tonga, Fiji are where most Polynesian migrations came out off. Don't be ignorant and stupid and learn some history and study the culture and history of all of Pacific and you'll know we all share common ancestry.
