Hey guys just a tool tip I’ve found that this might help in the future....it’s the Colby emergency tire valve kit! It allows you to replace a damage tire valve without removing the tire!!! It’s a great piece of kit to have!! It could save the day!!! Anyway thanks for the great vids! I love that you notate who’s the POV when playing your vids!!!

Not a trail for someone with Hemorrhoids lol . How big is this park ?
@SouthernLandRiders4 жыл бұрын
That would be a correct statement. lol. The park is incredible. It is not huge but they have so many good, hard but doable trails in a SXS. It is a great place for people that like challenging trails.

How does not having a windshield work for you? Do you feel like you ever need one?
@SouthernLandRiders4 жыл бұрын
I won't ever run a windshield. I hate having to always clean it and it makes the videos turn out pretty bad.
@Rcaceres4 жыл бұрын
Southern Land Riders I’m going to try that I just don’t like the cold wind in my face. Might look into the rear mesh cover I heard it helps with wind coming into the cab.

@@SouthernLandRiders I definitely agree! A windshield is a drivers worse nightmare in most cases! I’d rather wear goggles!

Nasty trail! I feel like my highlifter would do good since it has the additional 55% gear reduction in low. I just need some tires......not the crawlers.....haha!
@SouthernLandRiders4 жыл бұрын
Yeah a gear reduction would have been good on this one.
@smilfenoffroad93064 жыл бұрын
Merlin is a tight and technical trail, not the best fit for the Turbo S gearing when it's dry, let alone wet. Thankful, that's all I've ever broken on it. Thanks in part to the Full skids, Performance SXS bushings & ball joints taking a beating.

Carry a can of starting fluid or WD 40 to seat the bead in situations like this. Driving out on a flat is pretty much always a bad idea unless it is a dire emergency as you will ruin the wheel. I run Super Swamper LTB truck tires and am the only one in our crew to never have a flat. Crawlers are great too but not as tough as the LTB swampers.
@SouthernLandRiders4 жыл бұрын
There was no fixing this one. It was destroyed. I had 4 new wheels and tires and home and was changing them after this ride so I really wasn't worried about messing up the wheel. It was fine though. I am going to use the old 4 as spares. 33" swampers are 11 pounds heavier per tire than the crawlers. That is way too heavy of a tire for me.
