During the beginning of July I checked out Hawk Ridge in Duluth, Minnesota for the first time. It was one of those rare 90 degree humid days in Duluth, but we made the most of it, and even finished the ride by jumping into the Lester River. If you're in Duluth, I'd highly recommend riding Hawk Ridge. If you want to skip the climb section and have another friend with, this would be an easy trail to shuttle.

I thoroughly enjoyed this trail and route. It looks so different when it’s green and not golden from autumn when I was there. So many fun features and rocks! Great video as always!

Big fan of that trail ever since my buddy Dialed in showed it to me. A bunch of tombstone floaters and tech features scattered about. Last time we were there it was open after raining but when we took one of the Amity sections on the way down we got covered and mud. We, and our bikes, had to take a dip in Lester River not for a cool down but to clean up. Lol.

Hah, sounds like a good time. I need to get back there and try all the B line options I passed up on this ride. It was humid and close to 90 degrees on this day, so I wasn't quite in full send mode. I think Duluth is my new favorite spot for Minnesota trails.

I've ridden this trail twice now, once in the heat and once in the colder temps of fall. Good fun in either weather.
