I don't believe there was any malicious intent as far as Hailey is concerned. She is young and nieve and probably didn't understand the mechanics of meme coins at the time and probably had a team of people advising her it was a good idea so they could make a quick 'buck'. We need to cut her some slack and use common sense.

No this is the wrong attitude. It's a scam and preys on stupid people. Just because they're stupid, doesn't mean they deserve to be scammed, regardless of whether it's meme coins or pyramid schemes or door-to-door traders. People that set up these schemes should be stopped and charged with crimes.

Crypto always goes up when the economy is unsteady and/or huge events happen. for example the inflation and value loss of the dollar has people looking into forms of not losing their savings to inflation, so they put it into crypto, gold, s&p500. Or Covid was another huge crypto pump. Also this recent election is having a huge effect with the president himself Donald trump launching 2 meme coins in the past week, aswell elon musk backing him while being huge on crypto. basically its speculation like everything else, and nobody wants fomo lol
