Tirpitz is the best for mob fleets, why? her skill reduces the out of ammo debuff that mob fleets face when needing to clear 6 fleets before a boss spawn, or the eliminate all enemies requirement. Basicly she will always deal 80% damage output instead of other ships facing a 50% damage output when out of ammo. Torpedos to clear bombships or ships close to the backline and constant 30% damage increase with high hitpoints all set her up for a really tanky mob flagship. If you want to use her for boss fleets tag her along with Bismarck, she can play bodyguard for her big sister with her damage output and really strong secondary gun and 40% damage increase with an increase in critical rate by 20% along with a 12% reduction to reload.

Gameplay wise, she's a beast when paired with Bismarck. Bismarck's skill buffs her better than her skill and opens up much more fleet compositions. On another note, she's oddly a magnet for foreign ships lol. At least two foreign ships (Vicky and Alabama) want a piece of her. For battling of course, but that doesn't stop fanartists.

Fun Facts About KMS Tirpitz: "Lonely Queen of the North" - Because she was Stationed in the Northern Parts of Europe, in Norway and and Only time she Fired her Guns was when she was Bombarding Spitzgerben, with fellow Battleship KMS Scharnhorst. After that she hasn't seen much action, and was technically left in Norway as a Way to Intimidate the Allies, while Undergoing Repairs, but she was alone without any other fellow KMS ships to Accompany her (T^T I Cri everytime). "Low AA Stats?" - That's Because her demise was int the Hands of a Lancaster Bombers armed with "Tallboys" Earthquake Bombs, Before that she was subjected to Torrent after Torrent of Air Raids. A total of 29 Tallboys were dropped 2 hit and another near miss, which caused her to Capsize. In another Note... Queen Tirpitz is MY most powerful ship at the moment, being the Highest Level, at Lvl 111, and Heavily armed aside from being a part of my Harem, she is the Flagship of my Mob Fleet in Clearing Chapters 10 and so On (Still Grinding through Chapter 11) Anyways... I too have her as my mob fleet's flagship, but my Derpitz is 115 level atm. Also her ridiculous torment of Air raids weren't enough to sink her that only Tallboys were managed to cause her actual damage, which ultimately sunk her. If she could've go with Bismarck to Atlantic (along with a proper escort DDs and CLs) they could have changed the war's tide as they would either put Brits to surrender or US to enter the war earlier to PH raid.

@@gildedphoenix I don't think that much would've changed. It's not like the Royal Navy didn't have the capability to annihilate a Bismarck-class ship, as shown by the last stand of the Bismarck. Had she made it into the Atlantic she would've met a very similar fate to Bismarck. Except, maybe this time the US would also send in a North Carolina-class or South Dakota-class for Overkill. The British decided to bomb her into the ground because it was much safer than actually sending in their own Battleships to fight her. And their plan worked out rather splendidly as the Tirpitz constantly had to be repaired and was almost never in a state to get back to Germany for a proper repair. Let alone, getting into the Atlantic. If she actually tries to sail out she'll probably cause a lot more casualties than she did historically, but she'd also have a vastly shorter career.

I started playing around Divergent Chessboard and I've used Tirpitz as a mob fleet solo backline pretty much every time a new event rolled around. Just having a basic strong and tanky BB is perfect for that. Also, it's nice to have her torpedo spread actually hit something I guess.

I am running a full GERMAN ENGINEERING fleet nowadays. Bismark as flag, Tirpitz and Graf Zeppelin as the main fleet, and Deutschland, Graf Spee and Admiral Hipper up front to tank shots for days. With the support of my u-boat wolfpack, the KMS is my go-to mob clearing fleet, thanks to the special equipment for Bismark I hope is mentioned in the followup video.

When I started out, I had missed Visitors Dyed in Red and Fallen Wings (and the Prince of Wales event), so the first major event I saw was Chessboard. Picked up Tirpitz there and put her as the flagship with Enterprise and Shoho for the best fleet I could assemble. Well tirpitz can be pretty much invincible if you can pair her with unicorn and shouhou since they can spam airstrike/heal to negate enemy bb shot and given the fact that tirpitz has an insane Hp the only thing you would worry is how to time when to proc airstrike. Imo

Tirpitz is one of my favorite mob fleet BB especially she perform so well at world 9 and world 10 where suicide boats are super common. her being alone is not really a disadvantage as long as the magnetic torps is at level 10 in order to stop the suicide boats from killing the backline.

the Tirpitz is known as "Derpitz" in the game, and one of the first in World of Warships, it has a 2 quadruple torpedo with a thicc skinny armor just like the Bismarck, and she has the 10.8 km range of secondaries, and the weakness is, only a HE shell dispersion. and btw i never owned Tirpitz or Bisrmarck in AL, because it's hard to get this waifu.

Bismarck's buff to Tirpitz says nothing about "while this ship is afloat" and it is applied at the start of a fight. If it stays after Bismarck sinks, you can tactically sink her to buff Tirpitz to stupid levels of damage (by giving her back Lonely Queen)

Derpitz, as i like to call her, is a great mob fleet as her sole standing nature allows her to be oil efficient as SRs go (that's pretty bad for SRs). And with the damage buff it is easy to see 6k shell hits with her, just like Warspite, but the difference is that Warspite doesn't gets a 30% or a 40% damage buff.

Lonely German Mama is a monster of a unit. For raw Firepower, the only ships that beat her out are Warspite and some research BBs (BB Kaga and Monarch tie her) and only three units have more health (Hood, Izumo, and Friedrich). About the only thing she's lacking is a barrage, but there are other German backlines that can handle that.

Tirpitz is very useful late-game with mob fleets. I mean, I do use the cat and Shouhou with her.... And because of her frankly ridiculous stats, I do use her to discourage people from even fighting me in PvP by the sheer virtue of having the main fleet power where it is (also the fact that Owarida is present, but....) Overall she is absolutely amazing and I got extremely confused when Bisko basically made her skill kinda obsolete.... Anyways, one last thing to note is that her skill does stack with ammunition plenty/depeleted modifiers.... And the 80% damage that you get with depleted ammo is enough to push her over the top if you are looking for someone to clear the entire way to the boss

Tirpitz is very reliable. She served me extremely well up to chapter 11 before I got side-tracked. That said, she was already 110 with Affinity 200 by the time she got "neglected". Again, thanks for the video!

Hyuuga Retrofit is another major synergy to run with Tirpitz She is a BBV so her, Lone Queen of the North still procs But Hyuuga also is the only BBV that has a skill that makes up for her losing a secondary gun in the form of the Melee Artillery skill. So that helps a bit more with backline defense But the big meme is her back line buff that she provides. 15% boost to firepower That can go on Tirpitz Slap a Dual 410 on Tirpitz with Hyuuga and Bismarck and you got a ship that fires small tactical nukes almost as often as she dumps Torps Or the good ol Mk 6 for more oomph over DPM

For those who doesn't know, German BB in WGBoatgame have the longest secondaries range, barring some exception like Georgia and Yamato. All the tech tree one, except Tirpitz, well, pre buff one btw. And oh, just like AL, Tirpitz also have torp. ;)

That's because Tirpitz, Scharnhorst and Gneissenau has deck torpedo tubes on them historically. That's also my salt for not giving deck torps to T9-10 German BBs. Maybe a seperate line for that purpose would be fun (a larger Scharnhorsts with 380 or 406 as T10)

I always have Tirpitz with Lexington and Saratoga, w/ Z1, Leander and Atago. The CV's provide good support while Z-1's skill aids the back line, all the while Atago is incinerating the enemy w/ Leander boosting Atago ' skills.

@@mychaeldark1007 You're right, went and double checked it, I did in fact have the wrong DD. Z-1 isn't in it, I actually have Shiranui refit with her skill that aids the CV's there. I think when when I was righting the comment earlier I wrote Z-1 instead because I was also looking up whether or not Z-1 and Leipzig were going to have refits or not based on a Azur lane fan video with them in it.

I think her extremly high Healthpool is drwan back to her Original Story. Since i startet playing Azur Lane i looked more into Detail on Ships that intrested me. Tirpitz Armor was the Strongest ever made for a Battleship in Europe. The british army had to invent a new type of Bomb after they saw that thier normal Bombs from thier Carrier planes did next to no Damage to her.

Yep, tallboys. And her history is also told in an event regarding Victorious. As she was also one of the attackers of Tirpitz that failed to sink her.

In the said event, Tirpitz says to Victorious that she wants to die honorably as fighting and be glorified by this. And as a fakyu to her, she gets tallboy'd off screen. That's grim.

I only leveled her torp skill since i have bisco's skills maxed out. Dk if shes woeth flagship even for a second kms fleet. But idk. Im just saving the books for other ships' skills.

I dont see her on the list so I would like to request Omaha. Low key she's one of the best light cruisers and has held the line for me in many desperate battles. She regularly outperforms my higher tier Cruisers.

Tirpitz as flagship with Graf and Z1 Z23 and Z25 as vanguards. Would not supprise me if she would have higest EHP in game. Z25 has yellow line dmg reduction to flagship. Zepelin has blue line reduction soo in theory they should not be exclusive.

Well this wasn’t bad thoughts vid for Tirpitz her torps are Magnetic and her heathpool with Graf Zeeplin and Bismarck can have a huge devastating sorts if your finding a durable backline that also hits hard. Yet this thoughts vid is not bad.

It is only slightly irritating to me that the KMS ships get screwed on the AA stat when they had some of the most advanced AA abilities at the time. It's not their fault their enemies were so backwards primitive as to not have decent aircraft. lol Seriously though against anything but a Swordfish things would have been different for Bismarck and the allies were using Strategic Bombers to attack Tirpitz from 30k feet up.

One thing she is good in is low oil fleets especially because of the skill that buffs her when alone

No way the Bismarck-Tirpitz synergy wasn't on purpose. They never met IRL, and the Tirpitz was only out in the seas after the Bismarck sunk. I only wished they'd done a similar thing with Belfast and Edinburgh, who had a similar dynamic of one replacing the other. Instead all we get is hurr-durr, muh inferiority complex.

For Bismarck, try using the 410mm cannon. It makes the guarantee-crit rounds more accurate and triggers her barrage more. Bismarck using that setup could steal the from mvp from tirptiz even against the immense dmg buffs and the level difference (102 vs 106). I use a full KMS fleet to farm hardmode 8-2 and Bisko dished out 30k+ damage while tirpitz is in the high 20s.

I use twin 410 on both, for the lols, and they both are constantly losing MVP to Zeppelin.

I hope Bismarck comes back soon. I got back into AL just in time for Divergent Chessboard and got my superior German fleet and they need their queen.
