I can only imagine that this off-season mmac and js will be together a whole lot... Planning what kind of guys they want on the squad. There should be a big jump-they didn't have that kind of luxury this year and perhaps it was more of an eval year.

I couldn’t watch the game just listened and I haven’t even watched the highlights. I’ve never done that. Says a lot about the state of the offense. I believe in the defense but damn. After how much Pete Carrol emphasized the power of the run game, it’s hard to watch a completely different philosophy being played out

If they need more cap space they can just convert some or all of his base salary into a signing bonus to free up cap space next year. It’s already in his contract and can do it without even asking him.

If Hawks end the season 9 or 10-7, and barely miss out on the playoffs, I still view our season as an overall win. New staff, ton of injuries to key players during that 5 loss stretch in the first half of the season, mssively improved defense compared to the past 2 seasons and, most importantly, beating the Niners in SF lol.

@timsully8054 well, during that 5 loss stretch, we did have multiple combinations of Leo, Mafe, Nwosu, Murphy, Woolen, Metcalf, K9, Baker, Fant, Forsythe, Lucas, and Jenkins miss time. All starters at the time (obviously Baker isn't with the team anymore, and Lucas was still on IR). So it was a pretty rough stretch of injuries for a bit there. Think we weren't actually close to 100% until after the Bye.

The Ohio State QB or Indiana QB performed well this year too I would sign Justin Fields as my backup, possibly a future starter if a young QB needs more time
