Interesting to note that the aircraft had to cross the railroad (then Furka-Oberalp Railway) before they got to the runway! Thanks for posting. Too bad the crossing itself is drowned in a blur of squares.

Exactly, jet crossing bridge and railroad tracks, lol, hey lets stop in McDonalds before we go. Kinda reminds me international airport in Gibraltar. Sometimes you just have half backyard to get it done. Thanks for posting.

Bonjour, Merci pour ces videos … Juste un regret : pas de passage sur Gluringen et sa DCA ? Combien de fois nous vous avions visé, soit sur le sac des C36 , ou sur vos reflets dabs les miroirs semis-transparents , vous et vos confrères avec leurs Tiger Depuis, j'ai modélisé Ulrichen et Gluringen ainsi que la place de DCA et je revis ça sur X-Plane !

I was there in the 1980's, we had war games.manoeuvres and had to guard the Swiss made Mirage planes in the Ulrichen Hangars and our stupid Captain (a school-teacher in private life) got kidnapped by our enemy troops, a helicopter landed and asked him if he was interested for a helicopter flight over the Alps, he jumped into the helicopter no questions asked, we the Recon- Commando Group were simply standing there baffled, nobody saying a word how stupid this officer was, when the helicopter lifted off we radioed HQ and said our Captain just got taken prisoner by the enemy, and then lets go and have a beer...good riddance, war game over the enemy wan. Switzerland hd to many School teacher made officers...Swiss army was a real Kindergarden with all this inmature teachers as officers.
