Yes, it was rather wet. The drone is on long term loan, and I hope to use it more often.

I was a bit worried when I put the drone up, as it is not mine and the wind was gusting 70 mph. I was a bit chicken on how far I flew it. I was actually quite surprised the the video was not worse, and that the stabilisation on the camera works quite well. I am still in the Basin and if the wind dies off I might try a longer flight and cover more. Today the wind has been horrendous, as we disgust at silly O'clock this morning.

I can see what a handy tool the drone will be in your travels, Trev. I wonder the range your drone has... maybe scouting around a mooring or a look ahead on the canal? Cool tech. Safe cruising! 👍

It has a range I think I read of 3600m about 2 miles. At the moment I like to keep it in sight when flying as it is mot mine, it is on long term loan. BTW did you get my email?

Hi Trev first thing I'm glad to hear that you are going to take a break from making videos.. It will definitely do you good to relax and put your feet up.. However a word of warning there is a virus going around that is spreading like wildfire... I thought that COVID was bad this is definitely a lot worse. I could not breathe and had to call the paramedics out... I have now got a oxygen tank . By my side .. this is how bad this virus is..I had a phone call from the hospital asking me not to attend my appointment.as they are under pressure with the amount of people who are suffering from this virus.. anyway I thought. I would give you the heads up about this.. I can remember a person constantly coughing in the queue at my local supermarket.. the following day I became seriously ill. Anyway Trev be careful and as always keep yourself safe and well mate.

I will practice with the drone. The music I came across on KZbins, free, no copyright library one day and liked it and I have stuck with it
