I don’t know if anyone else has said, but that’s not the Hawkeye outfit that he wore when he saved Kate, that’s the Ronin suit that he wore after the blip, when he was straight up murdering criminals. That’s partly why the gangsters are calling her bro. Not because they think only a guy can fight like that, but because she’s wearing the suit and they think that she’s the Ronin. Also, when Jack was talking about inheriting, he was making a jab at the guy he was talking to, because Jack is in line to inherit that guy’s money. He was not talking about killing Eleanor for her money.

you're missing the fact that they don't necessarily have any reason to assume the ronin was ever a man. "they think she's the ronin" is not a strong explanation for why they're calling her "bro". they're calling her "bro" because as is frequently the case in our world they're assuming by default that she's a man.

Little fact: In reality (i.e. not the world of tv and movies) wines bottle are actually really sturdy and hard to break, especially wines bottle like those found in the wine cellars of rich people. This show portrayed them more accurately than most shows and movies usually do surprisingly enough.

They're almost certainly stronger than a skull and even stronger when they're full and sealed. Getting hit in the head with a wine bottle could easily give you a concussion if not just kill you outright. Similarly, getting shot _anywhere_ is really bad, enough to put just about anyone out of a fight, but getting shot in the leg is quite likely to cause you to bleed out in seconds. I wonder how many people have died because they assumed real-life gunshots were similar to what you see in movies.

Yeah I remember thinking the show was pretty alright when I initially watched it, but now that I'm rewatching it through this video, I'm all giddy and happy. What a good time.

This isn't at all a dig but I've seen a few channels react to this and every one of them has the same reaction at the opening sequence. "Where was her mom?!" Eleanor clearly stated she was going "downstairs" so, when the building was hit, she would have had to have taken the actual stairs all the way back up to the penthouse or risk using the elevator (providing it was functional). Considering she arrived within a minute or two of the attack starting I actually think she got there quick. Maybe it's just me.

You aren't the only one. It helps, in my opinion, that it has 1) a very likeable protagonist (Kate), and 2) it doesn't try to escalate things ti involving a threat to the Infiniverse.

The actress playing young Kate cut her foot during the attack scene and finished up without anyone knowing it because, as she said, "as a child actor I can only be on set so many hours a day so I try to do everything in just one take."

Also I haven't seen it myself, but I know that at least for a while (I don't know if it's still playing or not) the show that Hawkeye was watching at the beginning, Rogers the Musical, was actually a real show you could go watch at California Adventure at Disneyland!

Falcon & The Winter Soldier provided a good example of how the world had just started to adjust to working after the Snap, then it was reversed and threw everything into a mess again. So there are some people that preferred the world within those 5 years. Also, in Endgame you don't hear or see any birds at all until after Hulk snaps.

This series is loosely based (largely, but not entirely) on the Hawkeye comic run starting in 2012 by Matt Fraction (writer) and David Aja (artist). The title credits are copying the aesthetics of the cover art from the comics. The MCU adaptation was okay... enjoyed it well enough.. but the comics are amazing and highly worth reading.

Also, "bro" is slang, and can be used to refer to any person regardless of gender, similar to how "guy" can be used to refer to any person regardless of gender.

That's a very poorly-made bell tower. Though apparently it was Stane Tower (as in Obidiah Stane, the bad guy from Iron Man 1), so I'd guess he made a donation but wasn't generous enough to build it properly, or something.
