Hahahaha apologies if we ruin it. We booked it just because it was the most affordable boat excursion there. But it was a lot of long walks around the harbor with the tour ending in downtown so you are left there with nothing to do.

what brand or style of jacket do you recommend. Im from Texas and all i have is a light jacket. .

Depending on the weather I recommend investing in a 3 layer system to prep you for all types of weather. The puff down is patagonias nano puff, our fleece that we wear over it is the standard REI fleece and then you can use a rain jacket to really trap even more heat on especially windy days. The puff will be plenty warm for almost everything but when it’s windy you need something over it to keep the heat trapped in. You also don’t want something so tight it compresses the puff jacket. As for thermals I have a Patagonia smart thermal I’ll use but regular Walmart thermal layers will do fine under regular pants and a shirt.

Yes absolutely. I’ll get the direct website links and put them in the description. The only one we booked through Royal I believe was the walking tour in Victoria. Whale watching was “Juneau Wildlife Whale Watching and Menhdall Glacier” we found them on trip advisor. We did Chilkoot Canoe Willdife Safari, we heard from others though rafting on the River people got to not only see bears and eagles but a moose!
